lights are fine actually...thank you for the advice, I think this is a better idea too because I tried to study the meanings but when I began reading, it seems a little different because of the arrangements and the vibes that come with it. Thank you.

i found that talking to the person, having a chat while "playing' with the cards, looking at the photos and seeing the others reaction would tell you what the person wants insight on . And most importantly - don't make it about yourself - it's for them; so allow them to do the intuiting.

This was a very helpful video. I have been getting hung up on needing to memorize each meaning of each card and my brain just doesn’t want to do that!! I think now I have a better direction because of you, which definitely opens the card up to more intuition an less head knowledge. I will be ordering your book, though I don’t see a digital version, but Hey I like to feel the pages. ❤❤❤

Also love the traditional, good ol' fashioned approach of fortune telling. So much of modern tarot is philosophical and psychological, but traditionally it was always equated with the classic image of the fortune teller, which in itself is beautiful.

Loving this video, John. I'm interested that you assign 4th house to conditions at end of life. I have never seen that. Usually it is home, legacy, ancestors, etc. Thank you.

Hello, John! I'm only one minute in to this video, and wanted to pause and say: When I stumbled upon your videos it was akin to a fork in my tarot path. I had already read Pollack's Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom but nothing else on tarot. That was my background knowledge. You teach people how to read the cards. The beautiful images from Pamela (and Waite). Others, they teach us to rely upon memorization of "keywords". I find this "default" method abhorrent. Your wisdom, which you are graciously sharing here, comes from being in the moment, and helping the Seeker to find themselves in the cards that come up. Cheers, -- Anne

Read the cards. Not the person . Is my tip . The more I understand the meaning the more I think I know, its meaning. There is a more to tarot meets the eye. I also don’t use one deck , in a reading the chance of a repeat is never understood. The cards aloud . Cheers for your thoughts . It’s good to think and learn.
