Man this probably was the best battle of the bands in New Orleans on High school level , eve time i see this i get chills ( S. T.Reed ) the beast out the east ... Before Katrina hit new orleans , band was all we look forward to doing mardi gras and football season .

actually the last time an N.O band play this song was 2011 and i live here .. and its the same band who brought it back in 2010 That's O Perry Walker, Their Assistant director died so they Played it for the next 2 seasons in his memory . .Also that Popular recording from 2010 was the Mass Band for The mans funeral 2011.Houston United and N.O Alumni bands played it together aside from that there arent any band playing it | most bands in N.O. Pre katrina had the same tunes
