My skin is still not clear and I get acne often, but that’s okay as long as I know that my skin is healthy. I’ve been through so much, and acne was a big part of it, but I didn’t know back then what my skin needed. I was stressed because of heartbreaks, studies, and never feeling pretty, and I was actually scared to meet people. I used to edit my pimples and often got trolled for it. I can’t believe I’m able to post this now! Wow!! 😃 I’ve been to three dermatologists, and one of them actually prescribed me clindamycin and oral medicine, and that worked for me. One of my dermatologists prescribed me retinoids and didn’t warn me about the side effects. My skin barrier was broken, and it got worse. My tips for whoever needs them: A. Stress will cause you acne if you’re prone to it, 100%. So please let go of stress as much as you can. B. Sleep and water are so, so important. You don’t understand. C. Cut down on sugar. (I still drink tea and coffee but without sugar.) D. Know what your skin needs and buy skincare accordingly, and be consistent with it. Start with basics first. E. If you’re facing too many issues, then go to a dermatologist and understand the medicines. And you can subscribe me for skincare, makeup, and haircare-related content. 😊❤️ That’s all, cuties. Minimalist Invisible sunscreen spf 40 pa+++ Sunscreen filters- Octocrylene (UVB and short UVA) Avobenzone (UVA) These are in the later part of the ingredient list- Uvinul A Plus (UVA) Homosalate (UVB and helps to dissolve Avobenzone) This sunscreen contains many emollients hence it’s moisturizing but doesn’t feel greasy at all. I think it’ll suit all skin type but set it with a loose powder if you have oily skin or you’re using it in humid weather. No white sweat is a huge plus for me!
