How does the longitudinal mid motor w/shaft drive compared to a transverse mid-motor laydown or w/e? Any significant feel difference left to right or in the air since the motor torque is now perpendicular?
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv Жыл бұрын
Do not build XLP shocks this way. It increases the chance of air being sucked into the shock when piston is extended out. Follow Hagberg’s directions for building the shocks on his Facebook page that he posted today 13 December 2023. You gently lay the bladder into the shock and do not push piston all the way up.

Starting today I am now using “Push” as the mode setting. Having it on Toggle can cause huge issues if you accidentally touch the button. Using the push setting means it only comes on when holding the button.

Just so you all know. I’m still racing this chassis. I bought 4 of them so I’m going to stick with it for 2021. I’m just doing local races and so far I’m doing very well with it. I will do some more videos this year too.

Hi mate, i know this video is already 3 years old but may i know how different is this Jazrider T4 Mid Motor conversion kit compared to the Japanese Zerotribe conversion kit? Is everything 100% the same dimensions and design wise or are there some minor differences in the Jazrider version? Trying to keep my Xray T4 2017 alive for as long as i can but the original kit carbon chassis is wearing out soon.

I have m17 and gave up on the sanwa no sense English with many mistakes in it. Similar settings as with R - mode and button Config...... Trial and error (for much time) but got there in the end and started writing my own manual with sticky notes inside the sanwa comic lol, thanks.

I have an my-44 and the manual for that is ridiculously difficult to understand. They just don’t come at it from a users point of view. I’m trying to understand how to pull telemetry data but it’s a long road. Shouldn’t be this hard.
@Kaylem133 жыл бұрын
@@carlomac what kind of telemetry, stock / lap data or from a vortex esc?
@carlomac3 жыл бұрын
@@Kaylem13 I’d be happy with throttle and steering data if I could. Seeing a graph of that output from races would be valuable. I don’t have a sanwa esc, I use a hobbywing esc.
@Kaylem133 жыл бұрын
@@carlomac first, make sure telemetry is on - system - bind - telemetry on. If it was off turn on then re-bind. Then go to system - assign telemetry - assign button for what tel you want. Also go to system - log setup - rec on. Some tel setting can also be controlled from here. Generally I have found with sanwa, use the system menus to turn things on / off and let the transmitter know what you want. Then you need to go to settings to assign / apply these functions. Not very intuatve but once you start to understand it you realise you have a massive amount of control and keep finding new things it can do. Hope this helps, let me know, good luck

I've just ordered the builder kit and some pinions 12 13 and 14 was hoping to run the stock motor and maybe 12t pinion as all reviews say the gearing is way too high
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv4 жыл бұрын
Lee Hotham yes, definitely go with a 12t pinion. I also ran 11t but it is very fragile around the grub screw. 12t is fragile too so do not over tighten it.
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv4 жыл бұрын
Lee Hotham btw! You will absolute love this truck. I’v altered lots of it to make it better.
@leehotham18384 жыл бұрын
Are you running the stock gearbox if so surely with a 15t motor and 3s must be silly fast
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv4 жыл бұрын
Lee Hotham it’s a 550 Holmes Hobbies motor. It’s five slot motor. That’s a pretty slow motor. You’re thinking of a 550 3 slot motor. I recently learned about these motors myself. Look up Holmes Hobbies on youtube and 5 and 3 slot motor. Have a gander at the website below too. It’s how I chose my motor. Because the transmission is not that slow I tried to go with the slowest 550 motor from HH. holmeshobbies.com/motor-recommendations
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv4 жыл бұрын
Lee Hotham check out this guys truck. It has a 10 turn Crawl Master Pro. An even faster motor than mine. Fast motors are ok as long as you can gear them waaaaay down. Fast motors geared appropriately give crazy amounts of torque too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqrWfoGYlquIrJo
@leehotham18384 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv OK that makes sense to me now. I've built mine now running the 12t pinion and a cheap 80 turn motor on 3s gives me the about the same speed as the stock 55 turn motor with 12t but feels more torquey

How different is from the standard?
@MichaelJohnson-tq6iv4 жыл бұрын
The best way to describe it is “It’s just easier to drive.” Balance is almost the same so I feel it’s more about the new flex characteristics and equal length belts. Is it faster, most likely. It’s a hard one to back to back.
