this song came up on my SD card in my car, old sd card, like music from 15-20 years ago on it, this track just came on it... I was immediately back to Eve online when I tried it the first time back then in 2006 ..... man .... I am delighted to see, that this video is still here ! keep it up never take it down. I am sure I will come back before I am very old :>

This music video was so amazing it made me ALMOST enjoy EVE Online. Moreso, it made me deeply regret to see JunkieXL abandon his trance roots to do action movie scores. I still like his scores, but his early albums are godlike.

I miss these, nowadays you get corporately ultra clean UI that all look and feel the same. These were portals into the game that separated reality.

The first time i login. That music my god. Now i can not play it any more. Its not the same game. Back then learning skills was a need. Now pay your way up. I stop playing it till it was a free to play game. I even have deluxse version and my char on that stone the made. If it is still there lol.

For 2008, this must have been a massive edit effort for the tech and software of the time. The jump cuts are way ahead of its time. I get goosebumps when I watch this (04/2024)

Seeing this, I regret not joining eve when it came out, instead I played everquest. Eve was so far ahead of the curve in looks and open world design. Glad I found eve in 2015 though, still a lot of great things in this game with memories to be made

This was the trailer that got me playing at the time of the Red Moon Rising expansion. I started just in time to join one of corporations that built some of the first titans and got to join old school dread fleets. Our first titan earned the largest killmail count from a single doomsday. I ended up becoming one of the first of the titan pilots in the game (from our intel, I was about the sixth active pilot), going up to Amarr Titan V, and considered that winning the game because I burned out from economically dominating the northern regions with my corp. Though, my proudest moment was operating the first manually controlled targeting POSs (nicknamed The Shredder) to engage a fleet trying to take out the cyno jammer it was protecting. Watching as their fleet scrambled to adapt to a POS that was nuking them from 400km was glorious. To their credit, they succeeded in disabling the jammer after heavy sacrifice and lighting a cyno, though we eventually ousted them. I will always treasure this trailer and the glory days of the gameplay I enjoyed. I still love keeping up with the epic scale that it has come to. Back then 400 players would make servers cry. I wish I was retired and could play again without the logistics anxiety from back then. As always, fly safe and good hunting, my old friends o7
