Outstanding young man!!!! Very happy for you. I sincerely hope you grow and prosper. Your truck looks very professional. I personally hate vans, as they are to loud. I currently have have 3 F150. 2 of them with a 2.7 EcoBoost and 1 with the 3.7 NA V6. I love my 2.7 as it acts like a diesel with low end torque. We do more service than anything else. I bought a Uprising engineering tradesman trailer. I was the 1st in the nation to have one. Now he is importing them to Ohio. I use that trailer for large jobs. You may want to look at them when large jobs present themselves. It makes no sense to carry everything when 90% of the time we use the same tools and materials. I am an electrical and mechanical contractor in San Antonio Texas. Again very happy to see someone as young as you to be in the position you are at.

I can see your defiantly used to your setup. At this point you might as well get blacklader or snickers pants and that would carry all the tools your comfortable with. I carry a cabnetmakers sidekick with a mag mat on the upper place with a pica pencil in it. I get it i never have to take it off even in the car or truck. Alot of times i get away with a atlas 46 greenwood 8 pocket organizer on carabiner hanging off 2 belt loops(sold on amazon). Easy to take off i can drive with it on with a few holstery accessories on it. I do see a mp2x in your future thats is my main service pouch and as you know is very popular. I have tried 30+ pouches in my time and alot of not so useful ones including that style and craft one. A tip if you put a chicago screw in the front pocket through to the second flap you can divide that pocket into 2. The mp2x really is the answer for most techs and i dont know if my thighs can handle being straped to all the time id have to try it. If you like thoes railer holders try the vessel ones they double as handles as usable screwdrivers too. If you want a belt you dont have to adjust it just works check out grovelife belts. I have worn one for years and its stiff and flexable at the same time also handles 3lbs of mp2x hanging off it too. For your inner shirt pocket you can surely find a edc sleve holder organizer to keep that from flapping around. A leather pocket protector with slots are cheap too for your pens and nct. Id suggest trying our santronics nct they are made in the use sold on az there sensitivity is amazing you can identify individual hot wires(get the one with the audio alert its square and more sturdy). Try something new you never know and all thoes tools can be consolidated down to a mp2x or a pair of blacklader/snickers pants.

Congrats to you on self employment. It’s freedom you’ll never match. But also a headache. F one twizzy is a classic! You want to get rid of that cancer stick stink? douse all the surfaces you can with a vinegar with a few drops of dawn in it. Scrub it with a microfiber and wipe it off. Then get a clean pal of hot water and do the same. Then run an ozone machine with the windows up and the blower running so it gets into the ventilation. If you can put a cpu fan in a window and tape it up. That’ll allow fresh air in but nothing out. Do this a few times and you won’t hardly notice the smell. Or be gross and start smoking.
@ettezioblboiz6328Ай бұрын
To get the smoker smell out the truck ! Put a glass of white vinegar in your drink holder for at least 12h or over night ! Before using your truck just open the windows afterwards to air out any possible vinegar residue odor! Might take a few times if the smell is overwhelming. It works great 👍🏽 😊

What was the process like in getting your license? How long did you work and what class/ program was required?
@PalmerElectricalАй бұрын
@@adrianreyes6727 The NC limited license exam requires 3500 hours on the job under a licensed company, with 2000 of those required to be “primary experience”(electrical lead tech). Also required are 2 character statements and a signature from my previous boss verifying my skills and knowledge. I took a couple classes(~32hrs total) on NEC and exam prep, but these are not required for the NCBEEC exam. I completed my qualifying hours in about 2 years and passed my exam on the first try (70% fail rate statewide). My limited license qualifies me for commercial or residential electrical systems less than 600V, and the limited license comes with a $60,000 invoice cap. The testing center lady said I was the youngest that she had seen take the exam.

I suggest like we did with out vans a 3/4in plywood carpeted or rubber bed liner coated on full extension slides. its really nice to just slide the tray out instead of reaching or crawling back when you need something. Its also much cheaper than a decked system 200 is extreme duty slides and a sheet of plywood with some coating on it under 300. If you plan on having more than a 300+ lbs on it make a leg that folds out with a hinge. This also doubles as a work table as long as your in a semi secure area.

Quick tip from a framer/carpenter. If you need to resize a hole with a hole saw you need to do two things. 1- Take the hole saw you need to use to resize with, and find a scrap piece of wood to make a guide block. 2- Clamp the new guide block in place and, I can’t stress this enough, run the hole saw IN REVERSE at first. You will create a shallow kerf channel that will allow the hole to be cut cleaner. The guide block prevents a potential wandering hole saw, and the reverse start creates that safe starting point for the hole saw to cut easier. If you are patient enough, you can cut the hole all the way through in reverse. It will take a bit more force though.
