When I started you had 2/3/4 or 3in and that is all I still use none of that 3/1/2 stuff . That is only for a 10.

The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzbin.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

Killed a buck deer at 65 yds and a cow elk at 51 yds with the Ten Point Vengent 440 I like the Ten Point crossbows however I would recommend purchasing a extra string mine broke once

Great video. Nice and simple. When I first shot a 3.5 mag (Federal Premium 1.5 ounce “T” shot), I was expecting it to recoil more than it did. Some people might be intimidated by the shell length, but they really aren’t that bad. The hardest recoiling birdshot shell that I’ve ever fired was Winchester 3 inch BB lead (1 5/8 ounce). These ones have “High Impact” marked on the shell. Those are something special…

I got one of these. It’s weak. Very slow. No wake. Heavy and the instructions are pretty lame. I kept thinking there was something wrong. They’re is, with the design. Other hunting buddy had a lucky duck. 10 times better and cheaper. I’m sorry higdon, I don’t usually do this but this was a waste.

Can i shoot a 3inch shell in my 12guage shot gun but it calls for 2 3/4
@jplifts30082 ай бұрын
@eddielindsey5156 no you shouldn’t do that. Firing a shell that is longer than your gun is rated to take can damage the gun.

Video didn't show much. The shooters body position and barrel elevation was different each time. But the basics are the same. A heavier weight load at the same velocity will produce more recoil than a light one. Mass 1 x Velocity 1 = M2 x V2. So lets say 9 lead pellets weighs nine ounces and comes out of the barrel at 1200 fps. Compare that to 12 steel pellets that weigh 9 ounces and comes out to the barrel at 1200 fps. The recoil is the same. But the steel pellets are lighter than the lead pellets of the same size.

I can't get the blades out of mine. Shot it through an animal, into soft dirt and embedded in a buried log; the channels had dirt and hair in them. I scraped that out but the blades still won't release. I don't want to cut the crap out of my fingers.
