Changing the upload max directive requires modifying the php.ini file, which can be bind-mounted to make it easier to edit. In a Docker environment, using a bind mount ensures persistency by storing the php.ini file on the host system. This allows changes to remain intact even if the container is restarted. Additionally, it simplifies editing since you can modify the file directly on the host, and the updates will reflect in the container without needing to rebuild the image. Our image optimization process tends to prioritize size, which means that sometimes PNG or JPEG files might end up being smaller than the resulting WebP. I'm grateful to have this plugin. However, coming from other plugins, what is an image `group'? And what is the blue link text optm next to the percentages in the media library? The html shows `Currently using optimized version of file. Click to switch to original (unoptimized) version.' I don't see a title or tooltip popping up upon hover to tell me that. Plus, optm stays the same even if it's greyed out. It might be easier to appreciate what's going on if the actual word changes instead of optm/optm. For example: Click to use optimized image. / Using optimized image. etc. I've switched to LiteSpeed, but like I said coming from another plugin which was easier to understand in the media library. Thumbs up.

Assuming you are referring to the folder used to store the optimized files, this can highly vary on your settings and your site. For example, if you are combining or not combining CSS files.

Hello, i want to know if the website is in a different place from the litespeed server, how can we configgure it? I don't see in the settings of the plugin where to place the ip of the server. Or does the litespeed server should only be in the same place with the web server? The website is in my local windows machine and i a have the redis installed in a ubuntu server 22.04 and i want to install the litespeed server in the ubuntu server.

We are not entirely sure if we understood this correctly. Litespeed is a Webserver. To have a functioning setup you commonly have a stack on a Server or VPS composed of a: 1. OS such as Ubuntu etc., a Webserver such as Litespeed, a database service like MariaDB, and optionally a redis a key-value database. All of them for an easy setup should be on the same server or VPS. In advanced setups, this could be extended to be clustered, replicated, and remotely installed which brings its own advantages and difficulties.

Dear litespeed, I was going to buy a host but then decided to go with a VPS. The host provider at the time said that their shared server was based on litespeed. The question is, when I go and install litespeed on my VPS will this be the as if I had hosted my website on the shared host with this being based on litespeed on the provider side? Will I have the same performance>?

This might depend on many factors such as your traffic and website structure. However, in general, a VPS (depending on the size) should be more performant in comparison to a shared hosting account.

If you are referring to the SSL cert, we mentioned in the snippet link the following instruction: "# replace "doamin.com" at the first part of the line to your actual domain, and remove -d www."$domain" part if you don't use www domain.". In the Video it is not removed because we are registering a Top Level Domain for both, none www and www.

LiteSpeed Cache Toolbox v6.1, no more such debug tools. What now? Also, there is no x-litespeed-chache in the headers. What is the best way now to see whether anything is cached or not?

You can still find the debug log under toolbox --> Debug Settings and Log View with now even more options. If it's not visible then you might have a Multisite install where the debug menu is under the Network Admin options. I can't see any folder named lightspeed cache inside wp-content. I used this plugin on my other website but there i can see a folder named lightspeed cache and inside that all the minified css and js files. But this lightweight folder is missing on this website.. The folder you might refer to should be called 'litespeed' and is usually under /wp-content/litespeed to find. In case the folder isn't there try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin and some related functions like UCSS, CCSS, JS optimizations, etc. If the folder still doesn't show up it would to open a ticket with us under: www.quic.cloud/support/

Generally, Cyberpanel is as secure and safe to use as any other control panel. However, as with every installation you would want to take some security measurements. Cyberpanel usually leaves a small footprint if used in conjunction with LiteSpeed.

It's designed for wordpress and instead of sending your visitors to have them generate the cached content, your using a worker which is a bit more effective.

The method demonstrated in this older video, does indeed still work. But there is an easier way to determine whether your site is being cached. We have a tool for that: check.lscache.io Enter your domain, and the headers will be displayed for you. More importantly, it will tell you specifically whether LSCache is supported, and whether your site is cached (either at the site level or the QUIC.cloud level, if you're using the CDN). I'm sorry we missed your earlier comment about this, but I've seen it now, and I hope this reply helps.

Hello Litespeed. If someone needs the information you're offering here, you can assume they won't be super skilled on devtools. Nearly every comment here is about a problem and it seems like most of them can't use what you're putting down because the columns are different (yeah, at 31 and 36). I've gotten far enough to build a working ecommerce site so I'm not a (complete) idiot (that said, I did migrate the site to Chemicloud so maybe I am a complete idiot) but I'm leaving frustrated because the headers. I know how to change them...but, well.... Well, there is some encouraging news in this useless video. When even "technology" companies like Litespeed appear to rely on sleight of hand, it encourages me to keep going because eventually I'll get to the point where I can get people to pay me for nonsense.

Thanks for your response. Assuming you mean minutes 0.31 and 0.36 the columns shown in this part of the video are in line with the default configuration of the developer tools of the Chrome Browser. Cyberpanel and LSWS Enterprise are working with their default settings well together and should be for the most cases the way to go. Cyberpanel has some common built-in tools such as CSF, Modsec, etc. which offer a good start in order to secure your server. Settings related to these tools are often depending on the individual setup and need which makes a general recommendation difficult. When I open Developer Tools, Network enabled, and visit website, my display is different. Columns are Name, Status, Type, Initiator etc. NOT Name - Headers - Preview - Response etc. So can't follow the rest of the video.

The view you are describing is the same view in the video at minute 0:33 which shows, Name; Status; Protocol; Type, Intiatior, etc. The view for Header; Preview; Response, etc. comes up when you click on the file under the name shown at minute 0:36 in the video. I hope this clarifies it :)
