These watches are great until you’ve owned it for a while. I bought one a few years back and watched all the utube reviews. Initially I loved as it looked fantastic on the wrist (I have always been into military watches) and thought the case was brass as reviewers suggested this, however I did have my doubts concidering the price. Anyway the movement kept good time although that tick was so loud I couldn’t sleep in the same room with it and that’s genuine. It felt cheap and fragile even with a nato strap I hid it under my sleeve. The case was made of cheap alloy that pitted after a year of wearing because of the salt in the sweat. The initially awesome glowing dial face packed up working after about six months with a little area right at the bottom of the face just lighting up. Despite an easy life after 12 months it looked rough and the final straw was when the crown and stem fell out. These problems I found out afterwards were fairly common to these watches, especially the Indiglo packing up. I actually chucked it in the bin. I had a Timex as a kid in the 70s and was an absolutely awesome robust watch that lasted years without fault. I bit the Bullet and gave my Wallet a shock by purchasing a HAMILTON, years later it’s never missed a beat and best of all it’s been worth every penny. My advice is buy better and enjoy rather than regretting it.

I have this watch. It's simply beautifully classic. I am a watch collector myself. This watch is definitely value for money.

I have the one with the pink-gold dial. I use the GBD100 in white as my trainer. The pink-gold dial works with the white look of the watch. Have you seen the GMAP with no sub day dial and a smaller size? I think I would get that one in all white.

Does it have illumination or like light or glow in the dark???

I need a functional and "distinguished" (from a distance) watch for somewhat physical work, and I'm tired of scratching up and breaking the glass of my somewhat expensive watches. This might do the trick for sure! First step for me though would be to bin the bracelet and put it on a silicone... that is possible on this piece, right?

I was looking for a new casio, and that point you make with the low contrast is true for a lot of their new designs. They are going monochrome for that clean minimal look, which is nice, but it heavily sacrifices readability with the lack of contrast. They all use the same color on the hands and dial! Frustrating because I love analogs for being able to "feel" the time at a glance, but wiping out the contrast makes that impossible, a glance isn't enough I would need to squint to read the time They don't even need to sacrifice the minimalist look to make the hands/markers visible, adding one contrasting color and the watches could look just as clean...

Did you mention that this has integrated lugs? Therefore the strap cannot be interchanged very easily? I am very new to watches so forgive me if my terms are incorrect. I'd really like to be able to change out the strap/bracelet if I want.

The black one is boring in my opinion. I bought the green one and I am super Happy with it. I would buy a second one in purple. I bought it because I like the design and it has no Date. I don't like the date complication.

Walmart in the States sells these for $45. A good value. They had several of them available in various finishes and bands.

Not bad... but the hands are way too thin. It needs to be a lot more articulate, especially on a white dial.

Do not buy this watch I have one and it’s supposed to be a diver watch but it got foggy when I went swimming. Diver watches are not supposed to get like that they’re made with bad quality and they want almost $200 for them do not buy worst customer service I contacted them and they told me to fix it myself when they give it to me like this. It’s trash service and trash quality watches definitely will not buy another one again and I already have two. I wonder if other one is gonna do the same

Do not buy this watch I bought one and it’s supposed to be a diver watch and I went swimming and the thing got foggy. I called customer service and they basically told me to unassembled it and dry it out. Worst customer service ever I shouldn’t even have to do that watch is supposed to be a diver watch they couldn’t even send me a new one instead they want me to fix it myself like this is how you guys treat your customers.

It's 2024, and I bought mine about a month ago. So far, I'm very pleased with it. I got it primarily to have something that is easy to read the time at a glance. My dressier watches drive me crazy in low light trying to figure it out. My only concern is the lack of protection for the crown, but for a $30 watch, if it breaks, it breaks. And I guess I'm old enough now that I don't even hear it ticking, so that's not a problem for me. Overall, I'm quite happy with it.
