As a resident here, born and raised, it’s funny to me how contentious the "issues" of bikers, skateboarders and other non-automobile users are in Coronado. I read an article saying "Coronado is truly leading America in becoming a bicycle-friendly nation." Really? Says who? 😂 They always propose new improvements, bike lanes, etc. in City Council yet they never come to fruition. Not to mention there is ONE bicycle repair shop on the island. And if you’re lucky, they’ll do good work for you. Otherwise it may be sitting in the shop for WEEKS without any notice to you that it’s actually "been done". Hmm. 😐

I am laughing so hard. 😂😂😂 Hopi is not pronounced "Hoppy.' It's pronounced "Hopey." Yahveepee? Other mispronunciations but I don't want to be a troll. Good you added a few safety precautions. It is a beautiful place and thank you for sharing.

Thanks for posting it! Do you think it is possible to place a Gopro on the top of the car to record it? Or only cameras inside de vehicle?

Grew up on nado, live in az now. Thanks for the video, it takes me back. Oh, and if you did keep going further on the strand, you would have came across the cays and lowes hotel, nothing too spectacular.

Do you guy keep a GPS map of the routes? Would like to get access to that. Would love to ride around Coronado, one of these days!

Luckily it’s designed like a grid. You can essentially bike from Alameda and First Street in the northeast corner of the island, head south on first, and go all the way around the bay, under the bridge, around the golf course, back up the hill towards the beach and back around Alameda. Or, instead of turning back towards the beach, turn south at the Silver Strand bike path and go even farther.

wow, nice scenery. But you have no video tag used in this video. If you use a video tag or keyword then your video grows 10x more faster than before.

Those two wolves pacing and panting in the beginning are doing that out of stress. Had we seen longer we would have noticed they were staying on trails created by repetition from them both. I have no idea of the size of their enclosure, but it isn't enough. They are bored. It's the same as when you see bears pacing back and both in enclosures. They're slowing going insane.

My wife and I were there a few years ago and loved it. The funny thing that happen was the car in front of us get their back bumper torn off by the wolves, and there is no retrieving it. So be careful and don't stop for the animals if they surround your car.

I haven't been to this Wildlife Park in a while, I loved it there, especially since I was in a "Bison" phase. There's something nice about seeing some of the animals in relatively dense forests and grasslands, even if you can't always see them.

whats considered a SEVERE wind alert? Here in wy a normal day we can up to 128 mph wind gusts. Yes that fast. The winds can be sustained for a bit of time. Awesome vid man!

Once a year we have the Bike the Bay Ride and you can actually ride over the bridge in a large group of cyclists.
@ErikAndrew-q2p

It’s not even really the lack of space or designated bike lanes on the bridge, but it’s the fact that there’s a simple three-foot wall separating the road from a 200-foot plunge. If someone had a bike accident and fell… I mean, there’s still not even a higher fence or modified barrier for potential jumpers, despite this being discussed at-length, for years.
