Is this place worth taking a visit to? I’m a big birdwatcher and have some of Peterson’s books. Am only 2 hours north of Jamestown.

Hi! We may be biased, but we think so! We have some of Roger's work, as well as some of his personal items, on display. We also have other exhibitions on view, trails to wander, special events and a great museum shop. As a birder, you may enjoy our current exhibition, Hope is the Thing with Feathers. You can check out all that we have going on at www.RTPI.org. We hope to see you!

Nauseating. I was beginning high school when I read ”Silent Spring”. In R. Carson I found a kindred spirit. An early edition of Mr. Peterson’s was my guide in childhood until today. I am 74.

There is nothing wrong with Venezuela for ospreys. I'd be more concerned about ospreys in Malta!

Thank you Alan! Great informational presentation! I live in Butler, PA. Moraine State Park in Portersville, PA completed a reintroduction program in 1999 with 99 fledglings released from hacking towers over several years. The osprey population continues to grow in the area as well as all over Western PA. This was the only program in Western PA and kudos to Moraine Preservation Fund for making it happen! I'm thankful to be able to monitor the nests at Moraine and learn more each year!
