Barawa, bajuni, jareer, and all other bantus and bantu descendants should move out of Somalia. They should be taken to Kenya, zanzibar, Malawi, or wherever they came from. They've overstayed their welcome

I only see a few pure Chimwiini that resembles their cousins in Zanzibar and other Swahili coastal cities in your video the rest are Assimilated Yemeni Arabs with some assimilation from Somalian nomads who adopted a bantu language called Chimwiini dialect similar situation in Zanzibar where you find assimilated Yemeni Arabs I’ve seen many Chimwiini that still look Swahili the original pure Bravanese people why you only show the heavily mixed one’s ? You must have an agenda you also have the Bajuni people cousins of the Chimwiini and the Bajuni for the most part still look like their Swahili brothers even though they living in Somalia
@melanatedhistorian53902 жыл бұрын
You have a point I’m also Watching the video I actually saw some that still look like your typical Swahili but their coastal people the city of Barawa was strategically located for trade while people also exchanged ideas, skills, knowledge and culture. The regional population is made up of people of mixed bloodline but the original population would have looked like your typical Swahili to the south even doe some Barawa can look very similar to Swahili the people in that region look more mixed then people from Zanzibar where you find many that look like your typical Swahili I’ve actually visited Zanzibar this people looked more mixed then people from Zanzibar

I will keep it short. The Barawa people Who are descended from Yemen Hadramawt and other Arabs tribe who migrated in the early 1sth century and settle in the East Coast of Africa probably during the trading time, Now some of this group of people went further down to ZanzibaryoO and got mixed with Bantus there, And the ones who settle in the Cushitic land got mixed with the Somalis for example the Barawa people, The Reer Hamar or collectively Banadiri. Now This doesn't mean all of these group their have heavily integrated with the Somalis or Bantus. Some of them still remind unmixed with any other bloodline, That's why some of them look like Yemenis and Hindis.

@@karenwalls1522 I agree same thing can be said about the Barawa language or any other Languages. It's ridiculous for the Somalis to come to mockery the Barawa language saying is just a dialect of Suwahili and it is not a language. Chimini has more vocabulary words compare to Somali and Suwahili. Somali lacks the basic noun words such as colors, Shapes, Body parts, foods, fruits, Animals and so much more. The Somali language mainly uses sentence words to describe objects and other noun words. for example plastic, gloves, triangle, square and much more you get the point.
