With all due respect this might be one of the most disrespectful and disappointing perspectives on yoga I’ve ever encountered. Yoga is NOT a way to Evangelize. As a Hindu, yoga is a disciplinary practice to bring mind and body together with the intention of being closer to Brahman. It is similar to the Christian practice of Bible study or the sacraments. The version of yoga practiced here is cultural appropriation, it is not a representation of what the beautiful practice of yoga truly is. Additionally, yoga predates Christianity. Not a single source mentioned in this episode is from a true scholar of Hinduism or the actual teaching of yoga which is disappointing and invalidating of what you have to say. Much of the research done for this episode is rooted in opinions NOT fact. Lastly, many Christians go to India to convert people with the promise of salvation under the guise of mission trips. That is a true form of Evangelism. I urge you to read about that, and think about how God and Jesus would feel about it. I know I have especially considering I went to Catholic school for several years. Jesus performed miracles and loved people for exactly who they are. Most importantly He respected them. This episode is the exact opposite of that. Jesus taught his people to be kind, loving, and respectful much like what Hindus believe. You both seem like very kind, wonderful people and it is for that reason I ask you do a little more research from valid sources before sharing a “new perspective” that is actually rooted in opinions. I wish you both blessings and peace.

Hey there, friend! God has laid the need of memorization of scripture on my heart. Would love to follow along with you! Could you post the link here? I couldn't find it in the bio. (A technologically challenged millennial sister)

Keep listening to His voice, He will lead you, and if you follow you wont be sorry. You are on a missionfield that God wants to get the glory. Your testimony matters and its so wonderful to hear a wife love her husband and love her family . Cherish the treasure Gabby you have been so gifted. God Bless you! Be the godly role model you would have wished to meet when you needed one .

The dynamic looks like you’re performing and they are simply song lyrics . If your husband is uncomfortable witnessing you do what you enjoy , that is not love or respect . That is control . Those are not boundaries , those are restrictions . Male and female singers have done duets for decades where the lyrics were intimate and they got their check , and went home to their loved ones knowing it was simply a song sung to resonate with fans . It is not normal to feel uncomfortable with the situation you described . Your happiness matters too. Consider Cade possibly stripping you of that. I may need to stand corrected as you want a godly marriage and god is abusive and controlling , so perhaps you are cooperating with your belief system .

Her commitment to her husband is endearing and if it makes him uncomfortable and she honors that then that's their business. They love each other and that's evident. She may not have wanted to duet with someone singing intimate lyrics, looking into their eyes that isn't her husband anyway. I always find it kinda creepy. It's a give and take when you're married. ❤

You may see it as Control but she is using wisdom in protecting her spouse and her marriage. All these people were just working together getting their checks and then going home to their families... Brad Pit and Angelina Jolie Ryan Phillipe and Abbie Cornish Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield Johnny Depp & Amber Heard LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani I could keep going... It's wise for married people to know how to do battle and keep their marriage safe and sacred. You don't have to agree and you can do your marriage how you choose to. God IS GOOD and he does love you.💕

Totally agree with you on boundaries as well. Boundaries need to be set, as far as I'm concerned, immediately when you start dating someone. And if you're getting ready to get engaged talking about how many children to have & being in agreement long before a wedding. Plus, talking about lots of stuff before you ever walk down the aisle! And date a long time to get to know the person before you ever go any further than dating and if they act out during dating then you know exactly what they're going to be like when you get married. And trust me it will get worse and not better! And women should never have the thought I'll change that person later, no you won't! Etcetera etcetera!
@d.p.934310 ай бұрын
That does not sound immature at all! Good job you holding your ground and I agree with you if he wouldn't have turned around and changed his mind and corrected his behavior I'd have never married him either even if the wedding was the following day!

Way to go Gabby! I'm really proud of you. It is so rare to hear singers, or movie stars ever say what you're saying. I am so proud of you & blessed to hear how strong your relationship between you, Jesus, Father God, and Holy Spirit is & how much you cherish your relationship with your Father God above! Not only that it is so refreshing to hear a wife say how much she cherishes her relationship with her husband and will honor him. God will certainly honor your decisions! ❤

You HAVE to have these ladies on again!! 😭❤️ This was so good!!! We need regular updates from you 3. I felt like I was on the couch with you, and although I missed the q&a to send questions in, this was EXACTLY what my heart needed. Like minded mama's of young kids! It is SO hard to raise babies in this generation and you guys were a breath of fresh air! THANK YOU! P.S. Not me cryingggg when you said God ordained you to be the mother of that sweet little baby. Because the mom guilt is so real. ❤ this is one of my favorite podcast episodes I've ever listened to. I can't wait to listen to part 2 RIGHT NOW. 🤭🤣

The in-between… We’ve all experienced this spot in life whether we like it or not. Sitting in the in-between …. well can be a lot of things. It can be a….season of waiting It can make you… feel like you’re under attack It can be… painful It can be... a time to persevere It can be a time…to learn and grow Or… to teach others along during this time The in-between looks different for everyone.
