I love the drums but the best part of this is the drummers 'twirling' their drum sticks. How magnificent is that? I'm just in awe! I can't get enough of this! So much is focused on the pipers but the these drummers are the heart of the beat! I can't state how much I love those those 'twirling' drummers! They are the epitomy of beauty!

Just heard going home. As I have real reason to believe that home does not exist for many including myself, I find it a heartbreaking sound, a soul destroying emotion and I can only thank the housing in the UK for that.

This is not The Last of the Mohicans. It's THE Gael written by a Scot Dougie Maclean. The Last of the Mohicans was a movie for which Trevor Jones scored the music.

My grandfather was born in Scotland..his surname was Smith ..I will forgive him for that but, oh what I would give for a Mac/ Mc something as a surname that I would think of with pride! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

duncancallum Sorry for my late reply. Yes, Scottish music is very popular on the mainland of Europe. We have a lot of pipe bands over here, especially in The Netherlands and Germany. Massed pipes and Drums are very popular amongst the audience. In Germany there are a lot of tattoos and shows with pipe bands. I am senior drum major of the Music Show Scotland (the video above is a video of the show) and this production is touring on the mainland since 2007. We do a show every month bringing a three hours lasting program with Scottish and Celtic music. See for more info www.musicshowscotland.com If you have any more questions please let me know.
