@@romanojan-martenmiracle3295 hier in Heerenveen ook. Nu heeft het park beheer gelukkig na jaren de laatste moederend en haar jongen veilig gezet en hebben nu 10 jongvolwassenen jongen. Maar de populatie is nu nog maar 2 mannetjes en 1 vrouwtje en de jongen dus dus genetisch word het lastig. 10 jaar terug hadden we 30 en elk jaar groeide de populatie met 5 en een ander parkje in de buurt had er 40. Toen wou de PvdA wethouder ze dood en overleefden enkele waarvan de jongen altijd werden opgevreten. Nu gelukkig wat goed nieuws.

I found that muscovey ducks seldom fly high, but tend to fly close to the ground. If they do fly high it's usually to traverse over tall obstacles in their flight path, or skirt around and save energy. They are somewhat heavier than most ducks and i wouldn't say they are migratory like geese or swans, but tend to stay in the same spot as long as there's food available and become very friendly. I love them.
