My favorite part is the Port Disney and DisneySea Concept from 19:13-23:17 and 23:17-27:29. I love the beaches gives the feeling to relax and to see the animals that were on the ocean. It's such a shame that Port Disney and Disney Sea in Long Beach never happened. But I'm really glad that DisneySea idea was used for Tokyo version. 19:59-20:18 I noticed that Disney about to buy SeaWorld to make a theme park. But it never happened because of Anheuser-Busch that brought SeaWorld. I had a lot of huge fond memories that I and my family had. Thank you Michael Gabby, for sharing the history of this abandoned theme park.

Shame that the park is just a tacky IP dumping ground now. I have never visited the park and never plan to.

That first song for the press opening goes super hard lol. I was 8 when this park first opened. So many good memories of getting to go to Disneyland Resort growing up till 2014 when we stopped going to Cali as a family. Going to Rainforest Cafe was really a treat. We always arrived on a Friday and dined at downtown, then went park hopping on Saturday and Sunday. Good times

At 14:13 you've reminded me of being a small kid and looking through the iron fence at the Haunted Mansion - built but not yet open for business. I remember thinking the house itself didn't look too scary, but I was very excited for what might be inside. It felt like FOREVER before we could go in it.

I was one of those lucky folks that was there on opening day and went many times over the summer in 2001. When I first went to Disneyland in 1998 they hadn't yet broken ground and the bus we went on came all the way up to the ticket booths. Both parks have had some amazing transformations over the years but DCA has had the most impressive changes.

Meet the World was not a rotating theater, the stage rotated and the audience around it stayed put. Also, it did not become a cirrcarma film, it’s an animatronics show most similar to the American Adventure. Japan 200 was the early name for what became “The Eternal Sea” but the Japanese were not fans since the sea was so close to them and it closed in less than a year and a half and was replaced by Magic Journeys.

When Toontown was new, it was pretty cool. It opened when I was about eight years old, I remember Goofy's Bounce House, Chip & Dale's Acorn Crawl, And running through Mickey's House and Minnie's House. Never Rode the Jolley Trolley. All of the gag stuff you could interact with, and the photo opportunities were actually really neat, and well designed. I specifically remember the cake in the oven effect inside of Minnie's Kitchen, How the cake rose immediately and magically inflated in the oven. I remember waiting like 2 hours to ride Roger Rabbit, and I ate a Mickey Pretzel while riding Gadget's Go Coaster.
