Do the Shars digital calipers, with the auto-on feature, draw substantially more power while in the off state when compared to the Shars digital calipers without the auto-on feature? Or is the implementation of auto-on clever enough that it doesn't use more power. Also, for digital calipers that don't remember the last measurement when turned off and must be zeroed out each time they are powered on, do they draw any amps in the off state? I imagine the only reason a caliper needs to draw power while in the off state is to remember the last measurement.

Based on user review photos on amazon, looks like they added a screw on the battery cover. 🤔 Not sure i like that. I like being able to easily remove batteres in case i dont use the tool for awhile and the battery starts corroding.

Thanks a lot, that program Zebra Setup Utilities also helped me to get my printer to print the full page instead of 2x3 like it was trying to do for all my labels before. thanks for the help!

Hi bro, After watching this video I upgrade my dell latitude e5410 by installing ssd in place of hdd & install fresh window 10 on ssd & install old hdd in cd drive. But the problem is that my hdd is not showing any where neither in disk management not cmd list dispart what will I do to fix it. Actually I disable all Windows update any driver update from gp edit & registry after installing fresh Windows 10 before connecting internet because as soon as it connected to internet display driver goes updated and screen become black as Windows 10 not support in e5410 so need to reformat to visualize screen.

If the original HDD still had the original windows still installed the system will flag one as unreadable. You need to format the old one before having them both installed at the same time

I changed to a SSD and a new battery, but had some problems and with a good magnifying glass realized the battery connector wasn't making correctly. Fixed that and everything was great. It came with 12GB memory so nothing need there. I have two of these both I7 (his and hers). Good computers.

Do you have a microscope? If not we need to see this 0.01 micron claim verified. Thats a extraordinary claim for a cheap filter from chi na. Many of the reviews said it had trouble with sand and algae. The water flow rate, and filter rate tell me this rating is quite likely false and just marketing lie. Im sure it filters decent but id rather trust Katadyn

In 2022 the ASIC in the OriginCal was changed to a new part and unfortunately the good power consumption is gone. OriginCal's after 2022 are now 60µA in the on state and 22µA in the off state.

I measured the OriginCal with the new ASIC and they are the new current consumption values. I talked to iGaging and they confirmed the ASIC change.

@@jheissjr Unless the iGaging EZ-cal were also changed in 2022, they draw less amps than the OriginCal. They were measured at 28.2µA & 15.9µA in another video. And they seem to be just as accurate.

I know im way too lte to the prty but I love this video very clear and to the point. I upgraded my RAM and want to upgrade my hard drive to the crucial SSD you linked. Now my only question is how can i clone windows 7 OS? I don’t really care about my files but I need the OS because as you probably know Win7 is no longer supported. I have tried finding ways to create bootable USB but they all install with no drivers. The version of windows 7 pro that i have now has all updates including firewall, windows updates and drivers. Any advice at all would be appreciated. Please help, i really want to upgrade to SSD. Thank you!

Ultrasonic waves can't go through solid material, so putting it against the cardboard means it won't effect them on the other side, because it stops at the cardboard, that's why people will claim it doesn't work because there putting the device behind and/or blocking the device with furniture which ultimately renders the device useless except for the few inches in front of the device before the ultrasonic sound wave hits a solid object

I can hear it run when I put a CD in but nothing appears on my iMac desktop or MacBook Pro. Not sure if there is some sort of download or driver I need but didn't know what the fix is so I can use it.

Just picked up an OriginCal. Is there any inexpensive way to get the cable these days? It looks like cheapest direct on Amazon is over $80 just for the USB SPC. I might have to try making my own.

My ASUS T101HA transformer book lost its touchscreen functionality shortly after Windows 10 was installed. Your video was one of the first I have seen which pointed out to the power management option to enable the touch screen functionality. My device manager also detects the monitor as a Generic PnP. POst trying out your power management and disable/enable, I still did not get the touchscreen functionality back. Also, lost was the sound from the built-in speakers. ASUS website/support also did not help. Note: I got the name of the monitor as: ASUS T101HA DKFJR7R. Do you have any suggestions to fix the above issues?

I’m surprised at how much gets written about the comparison between “good” and “bad” digital calipers. If I buy a cheap new or used car I don’t (at least shouldn’t) expect it to be just a good and reliable as a new and/or expensive one. Same with digital calipers. A new $100 (or more) digital caliper should be better than one costing $20. Certainly at least as finish quality goes. I doubt though it will be 5 times better and certainly not 5 times more accurate. If I use something regularly I go for reliability but if rarely used then “cheap” is often good enough. Finish is important but accuracy is much more important, at least to me. People. Don't buy anything ecoplus. They use to be gold quality and lasted years. They are now complete garbage! I had 3 brand new pumps quit with in 60 minutes total run time. Indoors. Clean clear water. 16 inch line with 8 inch rise. One was dead on arrival. The other one and its replacement died almost instantly killing everything and costing me thousands. BUY ANYTHING BUT ECOPLUS GARBAGE. I had purchased a lot of these over the years...I'll never buy another. Don't suffer from these poor quality units like I did

At around 3.50 mins you disconnect it and the reading was 8.0Ah. Then you connect it again around 5.40 and it shows 7.30Ah. Really reliable stuff those meters.

I was worried about replacing my high-end older oasis with this one kzbin.infoUgkxCgPI5O2AtmcHq9SJhgsCGbpAzJAJfrJp but it is surprisingly light and the screen resolution is just as good. I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

If you don't have a spot welding machine, just leave the old nickel strips on the battery cell so you can solder it correctly.

I realized it won’t charge as fast if the battery is above 70-80%, but if below that it charges pretty well and fast better than most that size
