I disagree with different ways of apologising. or even some parents they will buy you something ( and you just have to figure out it was their way to say sorry or make you feel better) but the direct apology sounds better and I think it is still important to say sorry. just to acknowledge her I’m not perfect I am your mom but I can still say sorry moms feels entitled like they don’t own you anything they brought you to this world so they don’t have to apologise cuz they provide and take care of you and that’s just toxic way of thinking. No matter what our roles are apologies are important. Ofc sometimes we can move on without hearing another person say sorry to USA cuz some people just don’t take any accountability for their actions but if you fucked up just say sorry

My first question is why shouldn't you be protecting your son the same as your daughter and the second is why do you expect someone else's son to act differently towards your daughter than you do your son towards someone else's daughter? Make that make sense. The double standard doesn't just negatively affect your daughters it hurts your sons as well.
