6 years later you are awesome!! Thank you so much. I took my sons 6 plus to two different places and they replaced the screen and nothing (they didn’t charge and put the old one back on. ) anyways this did the trick!

Twice now this video has saved me, I'm on my second replacement screen on the L950, yes the year is 2024 but it's a good phone. Replacement screens still available when this is written (2024) and rather cheap, 35 bucks or so. Reuse, recycle etc instead of buying new.

Used this in my iPhone 6….had since 2015. Replaced battery and then screen started acting up. Used this technique and the thing is working good as new! Thanks for video and steps. He’s right about the tiny screws! But only took about 20 min with some tools I had to fix my kids Xbox controllers.

These affected models should have been officially recalled and destroyed, my iPhone 7 does this periodically now and there is definitely no way to get it replaced or fixed, but what happens is the service comes back by itself after a while, i don't know why it only started doing this within the last 2 weeks.
