@woodsteelcreations4681, @TrendSigns, is it possible to reuse the frame, rails, motors, etc. and rebuild it to your own specs, only replacing what makes it less wanted? I don't think that you can make a frame that strong for less than that.
@TrendSignsАй бұрын
The frame is very poorly welded and the SHS used is very thin.. I could easily make the frame with better materials for cheap here is AUS. I am a qualified Metal Fabricator so its easy for me to make. My intention is to use this platform a base. Ill simply upgrade as required.

100% Correct. i have learned a lot from this experience. The machine still has its issues, however I expected that and learned to fix things or work around them. The machine has produced some very cool projects. Been fun overall. Yes, it is Toy though. It would be good enough to get a workshop started then buy a Professional machine later one work is flowing in.

Customs is going to different and probably more expensive since I imported. Just make sure you use your local Customs Broker or you may get screwed over like LINTCNC did to me. However, Import costs were not too bad, but when you add $3500 - $4000 on top because LINTCNC screwed me over. then it really hurts.

Unfortunately, that mach3 controller board is the worst controller for that machine. That was the reason why it loss steps...it's the controller not the machine.
@woodsteelcreations46817 ай бұрын
Thats what the manufacturer has recommended and set the machine up to use... I have been advised that its the stepper motors loses a step/steps so lose the origin point. A servo system does not lose origin so and does not lose steps... I am not export though and can only go off what I've been told... Do you have a another solution?
@FrostedImages7 ай бұрын
@@woodsteelcreations4681 I have an imported machine also. However I have Hybrid Steppers on mine and converted from Mach3 to a Centroid Acorn controller. If you would like to keep Mach3, I suggest going with another Mach3 control board. Normally stepper motors will not lose steps unless they are undersized or pushing the machine faster than motors can handle. If that isn't the case then that Mach3 controller is abruptly losing connection while sending data.

I ordered co2 laser from LintCNC and it's just regular chinese company. They all work same way. You have to tell which parts the machine is built and you have to get video of your machine with every detail to make sure you have correct parts and it's working before you accept to buy. They will do it for you if you ask. Lint tried to put wrong power supply on my machine and after I saw it in the video and complained, they changed correct one. I been importing quite a lot of stuff from china and you just have to know how to deal with these companies. Warranty is non existing thing in china. If something is broken it's all on you. That's the name of the game. Ali baba is B2B site and consumers without knowledge how to deal with chinese companies often gets burned. Lint wasn't bad at all. Just regular chinese way to do business. There are way worse. Also their price was really good compared to many other companies. If I save say $2500 for one machine it's ok to buy one $150 power supply or some part from your pocket. More expensive don't mean any better warranty or service in China. If you decide to buy something straight from the factory you have to do your homework and be ready have risk in your purchase. Just my 2c. Have a great projects with your machine!

I'm in Germany and I have also some "interesting experience". Here the bussiness-structure was perfect incl transport, but I wanted a spindle with a head to use toolholders and automatic tool changer - this spindle was available but I dont got it mounted. finaly it was confusing, but I have a machine that works - to a good endprice ! It reminds on two videos I have seen on youtube buying a metal- lathe in china 1) A german man who shows up what does not work, or is incomplete - summary: the lathe is scrap and not worth the money. 2) A polish man with the same machine: He shows what he found, that was not perfect on his lathe incl. produce of a sparepart. - his summary after two month working on his maschine: Super machine absolut precise to a price you can not get a machine with such equipment in europe ! Maybe we have to think in a different way, because if you calculate building this machine yourself - the chinese can not be able to earn to much money with such a machine and so there will be the one or other point they try to save money.

This is a proper machine to buy and surely not those 3 I ordered from Forsun Jinan CNC, and they were never delivered because: The multirouter FS2040 could not be put together, as Forsun admitted repeatedly their incompetence to do this. The 2nd, a 5-head CNC cutting machine was produced with 1 oscillating knife tool less, and they said they can't make it as agreed. The 3rd machine, a hybrid laser, was never proved to be in a working condition, as they never sent us any such video. Regretfully, they are refusing compensating us or even giving us full refund of our $19,050 we paid as an advance payment. Alibaba pretends to know nothing, and they seem to be totally useless

Nothing too specific at the moment.. Only some quote and average specifications. They seem to be more popular with more information available.
