What a nice tribute to a great great man. I only got to meet him once, but that was all I needed in order to know what kind of person he was, and he was an absolute Prince of a man. RIP Maggie.

My favorite LEAF player! Could do it all; fight, hit, and score. GO LEAFS GO in 2023-2024 season. Add some big, tough and skilled players! That is the recipe to going far in the playoffs.

Let me pick fights with European players not used to fighting and pretend I am tough. Got him hero worship from dumb Canadian fans. I mean what did he win? He was no Clark Gillies.

I went to an exhibition game & there were some players with their nose in the air but not Tiger, he grabbed the hockey card & signed it on the spot. He's a solid guy.

Saw this clown throw all the chairs out if the penalty box in Los Angeles a week after he gave Jay Wells a pussy ass dirty shot well was down on the ice tiger was supposed to befending vhis goal but instead skated back towards wells went by him and almost poked his eyeball out with the blade of the stick and the 3 blind mice didn't see shit so he didn't even get a penalty . But a week later they played at Los Angeles and as soon as Wells was on the ice at the same time he went right at him ,well tiger ended up throwing all the chairs from penalty box on the ice when penalty was over they hit Tte ice and went strait back to each other . Then everyone started to go after each other play was stopped so many times we got out of there after 12 midnight lije a double overtime game with no overtime they where handing out misconducts left and right but tiger couldn't stop so they got the worst of it , think Kings got to score 2 or 3 times and Vancouver where still 3 on 5 cause of the game major misconduct craziest game i have ever seen ,tiger usually did good in fights but not this time and he deserved it Wells almost lost his eye cause of the dirty shit tiger did a week before so Wells was waiting for him , we new it was going down that's why we went to that game they announced it was the most penalty minutes ever in a game but someone else got it after think redwings . games would usually end by like 945 to 10 this one was over at like1230 am just cause of all the whistles and the packed penalty boxes all night long . Almost forgot a week before after he almost took the guys eye out he acted like he did nothing at all worked on the refs but not on Jay Wells he tore up tiger the next week all game long even the goalies got fighting penalties ,but when tiger started throwing out all the chairs from penalty box on the ice that' was insane then penalty expired and they went strait at each other again for 3 periods after a while every one joined in tiger even wanted to go after fans . Almost got to the stands .so saw the most penalty minutes in a gane and the week before on tv saw the dirtiest shit i have ever seen in a hockey game almost carrier ending for Wells pretty sure tiger would of been done also few years later he was on our team .

I was sad when the Nordiques traded away Sundin but absolutely loved Clark's time in Quebec. Great trade on but sides. Quebec got what it needed and so did Toronto. Was sad when Colorado traded him for Claude Lemieux.

I saw Tiger Williams go in the corner after Normand Leveille and Leveille Buried him. He tried to do it again and Leveille Buried Him again. That was that. He tried to take advantage of a rookie but Leveille would have no part of it.

My brother was a Habs fan and we were watching the World Jrs and he was teasing me that the only guy we had for the Leafs there was Clark. I didn't pay attention to the draft back then so I didn't know him. As soon as Wendel got on the ice things happened and he scare the crap out of those Euro teams. My brother was getting sick of me because every time Wendel was on the ice I kept saying "Holy Shyt, we got this guy" With the battles going on between Quebec and Montreal those first few years of the 90s I read some stories from the Hockey News that gave me the impression Quebec and Toronto were going to trade. I was sure Quebec wanted Potvin because of Montreal's Roy stoning them. I thought the GM for Toronto was a fool because for sure Quebec wanted Potvin but the Leafs wouldn't part with him so they took the Wendel trade. I was sure that Potvin could have got them Sakic and Forsberg (they weren't famous yet) but instead got Sundin, a player I wasn't that familiar with. When you have Sakic and Forsberg it doesn't hurt so bad being fleeced by the Leafs who I think thought Wendel was done. I enjoyed Wendel game no matter how bad the Leafs were at times.

I was thankful as an American and huge NHL fan to be stationed along side Canadians in Kuwait in 2015 when Tiger and a bunch of other hockey and football players came out to visit their troops and they played deck hockey with the deployed guys. I was glad I had that day off and could enjoy watching it all.

How? The Leafs won that trade hands down. Clark was washed up at that point and they got Sundin who went on to have a great career with Toronto.

The Tiger was always worth the price of the ticket every night. Went to many many many games while he played in Los Angeles and loved every game. The Tiger could turn the arena into a frenzy agitating and grinding it out on the ice. And the Tiger was an eve bigger agitator on the road which shows he was a gamer every night.
