I have the same deck, I pulled both decks out and went through and lubricated all the gears and got everything moving smoothly. My A deck is having issues going into reverse play but it did fix my B. There are 4 screws on the back of each deck holding them in, and 5 screws holding the plastic front on. The swiviling tape heads have a spring that makes it swing, as well as a gear that helps it swivle. That was giving me a bunch of issues.

Man, I miss mine, it was the first thing i bought when I got my first job. Listened to a LOT of Slayer, Sepultura, and Metallica on it.

Fun fact. Mine was just acting haywire. Would not hold timeset. On a whim I check the 9v backup battery and it was at like 0.19v. Probably shorting and confusing the unit. Removed battery and it worts fine.

Got one from GW as well for $19. Everything works, even the cassette deck. Looks like the previous owner didn't use the cassette deck at all.

How do you set the clock on the black web radio?

I bought two of these, both used. the first one i bought would not play the radio. i unplugged it, it sat for a month, then the radio played. after that the radio would not play again. i bought a second one that worked when i got it. they have excellent sound. i plugged into an aux port, and the radio never worked again. I like these, but they are old and at this point im done buying units in hopes that one will work. seem delicate at this age. like a few of the others, i took out a bunch of screws and could not get the top off the thing. good grief what a hassle.
