Great review, presentation, information and impressions. Is this 308 Win or 6.5 CM? Apologies if I missed that somewhere. Seriously considering this in 308. Quintessential question, if "fate" took this from you, would you replace it with another of the same? Thanks for your time. Subscribed.

It was a 6.5cm. I do not own the rifle anymore. It’s a good rifle and I could recommend it to a new shooter. Or someone looking to get their first competition rifle. There is other really good options out there too. Like the Aero Solus rifle. I did a review on the hunting version. We’ll have one of the competition version coming soon

No but why don’t you fill me in. I’d love to hear why an action that has to have custom fit barrels because no two are the same spec, doesn’t have an integral recoil lug, picatinny rail, side bolt release, changeable bolt heads. Is somehow better.

The garmin does not have the possibility to plug in an external trigger to activate it. Useless at a busy range.
@cr2shootingsolutions
@cr2shootingsolutions 8 ай бұрын
The Garmin does not have that “feature” but also that doesn’t seem to be a problem. We immediately noticed that too. But when it was demoed at the Gap Grind last month. There were dozens of shooters on the line at once and no problems. We’re suspecting this is because of a tighter Doppler radar beam than other devices. But I will definitely be paying attention to that myself. In fact today I’ll be on a very busy range with it.
@Jean-sc1bw
@Jean-sc1bw 8 ай бұрын
Make a review of it at the range..you will see if it not a problem or if it is one. I already know the answer..but you need to do it for yourself. So far - only review and videos avoid this situation by showing how great it is when shooting alone.@@cr2shootingsolutions

Garmin is “constant on” (like the bullet speed). It doesn’t require a “trigger” to “look” for the shot. It’s always looking. Uses frequency hopping to sense other units and change the frequency automatically so you don’t end up with multiple units reading each others shots. Also uses some magical algorithm to discern bt your projectile and others when multiple ones fly into the observation cone at the same time (has something to do with using the one originating closed to the unit)🤷‍♂️. Seems better in every possible way.

The Medium version is for regular AR15 builds. The Short version is for regular AR10 builds. The Long version is for any builds using something that extends the overall length of the buttstock area, like a Law Tactical Folder or the A5 Buffer system.

Put a Accu-Wedge under the latch and it will prevent it from collapsing, but still allows you to change LOP or collapse the stock if needed.

I have thought about it. Biggest problem is that sig hasn’t released the barrel extension. So right now there is no prefits. So as of now it requires a gunsmith to pull it apart and measure everything to make a barrel for it.
