Hi Dennis! I'd love to keep on making them but being very busy with university and other stuff makes me unable to do so. It's a process that requires a lot of free time when I do literally everything on my own. I don't have even much time to follow the news and national selections. That's why I decided to keep silent this season. Unless I'm gonna react to all the songs in one go but you'll have to wait and see if I do that. Anyways thanks a lot for your support and for not forgetting about me! ;-)

@@DennisTHugo I was curious since you asked so I just gave it a listen. I must admit I like it so much better than Spirit In The Sky. Monument has this kind of Nordic spirit and mystery. Alexandra's vocals are on point. Glad they're back with something different and better! ;D

Solovey (nightinangle -a symbol of Ukrainian folk culture) is a bird which sings early in the morning. The song is about a girl who fell in love with a guy, but in old Ukraine girls couldn't choose husbands and usualy had to marry someone picked by their parents. So she fell in love, but she can see the guy only at night to hide her love from her mother. In the chorus the girl asks the bird not to sing very early, because it means that the morning is coming and she has to go back home and forget about him, but she doesn't know how to do this. The sopilka playing in the song is kind of imitation of the nightinangle's singing.

Music - 7; Vocal - 9; Lyrics - 7 I'll try to be objective here. I feel that something is not right with the melody. To me it consists of 2 melodies. And there is 1 little mistake in the lyrics. If it's Ukraine, probably it should have been Ivanko, not Vanyusha. But they are totally great. They absolutely deserve going to ESC.
