announcer was a total idiot, suggesting if Smith got the takedown at the end of the 2nd period, it was over!

Nolf, the greatest ever. And consider this, 157lb is generally about the most stacked of all weight classes.

No one like Jason Nolf. Here he dismantles and DESTROYS another otherwise tough kid. 🙂

Surprised that they didn't mention that Gwiaz's coach, Joe Bena ALSO COACHED Olympic Gold MEdalist- and UFC/NCAA Wrestling broadcaster Jeff Blatnick.

No wonder Nate Jackson is so good. It started back in college. He deserves more recognition. That dudes double leg is RIDICULOUS now.

I just realized two Missouri natives won an NCAA title on this night in St. Louis. Alan Waters and J'den Cox also AA'd. Missouri is definitely one of the most underrated wrestling states.

Funny how Cory Clark's key to victory was "make it a double" yet almost all his takedown attempts were singles that kept getting countered.

It looks like Dake completely dominated Nolf - but just like the top coaches say - Nolf is much faster and far more technical. By the time summer 2-24 gets here it will be Burroughs and Nolf wrestling for the 74kg slot.
