That snare is too stiff. Put some tape with some tissue or cloth on it

Nice guitar bro!! A faux binding in this one would be sick!!!
@rifleonline11 күн бұрын
Exactly! I'm to afraid to scrape one myself... Thinking about having a buddy of mine look at it, he may be able to scrape a binding on it.

My God, this guy is trying to give people advice when: he didn't know he had a couple of 401Ks, cashed them in and paid taxes, saving up to buy a guitar. You get the idea. His advice is to buy cheaper stuff and yet he spends his retirement accounts and saves up to buy a guitar. Run away from this guy.

I am honestly not trying to give advice, but stating what is working for me. Though I didn't elaborate, there are more 401k's between my wife and I... leaving the good alone. When you work for so many companies throughout a 30yr career 401k's tend to accumulate. My wife has much better investments than me as well. I have, admittedly, done everything wrong though... but i retired for my sanity, that was right... I don't suggest anyone take this as advice, but educationally, Maybe learn what not to do, along with a few things that may work for you, everyone's situation is different. For the record, not knowing you have a 401k and finding out as your current company is downsizing is exhilarating! Rock on my friend, please don't take me to seriously.

I've been circling both of these for a couple of years! Difficult ! Love the satin finish, and the price, but really dislike the neck. Love the neck on the studio but not mad on the coil taps. I have a nice '68 Custom & 2009 Special so no rush but both are on sale here in HK and there's only 1 Tribute left (now discontinued) so the window is closing 😅

I told and promised myself I'd never buy a Gibson ever again, been saying that for nearly 2 decades now.. But when I saw this studio in Smokehouse Satin. I fell in love, what a sexy guitar.. For me it's just that stain and not being all glossy just oozes sexiness. Might have to go back on my promise..
