I've just known of the existence of this game through this video, and wow that explains the (retro) tracks of the game on Spotify! I thought those were just unused extras for the modern version. I also find the similarities and differences between the two versions very interesting - the layout of the stages, the obsession with helicopter bosses, the lack of spider drones seen often in the modern one... I wish the studio makes another installment to the sky force series, maybe optimised specifically for PC. I would gladly pay for that!
