These early versions are incredibly amazing. The first locla show i went to the bassplayer from premarital sax humped my baby head in the middle of the set He had sharpie glasses drawn on. I fell in love with live music say the less hahahah asob premarital sax hsfh sticker and all thsoe bands started my life😊

The instruments are dead and they are lip syncing to the studio recording. That's just the way they did it those days and still do in some countries. The magic of television.
@peters-other-stuff26 күн бұрын
yep the only difference between the audio off the tape and the album version is you hear like one person cheering at the very start. that's why i felt okay totally replacing the audio with the HQ album instance

@@peters-other-stuff Still awesome to watch. Dare to be Stupid was my first introduction to Weird Al. My brother bought the cassette tape. I was a fan from then on. Now seeing the behind the scenes and these old shows I never got to see when I was little is better appreciated by myself today. Ty for posting this video.

@@peters-other-stuff it's funny how weird Al gave it away when Dick Clark was talking to him at the end and he pointed out the keyboard still worked great even though it wasn't plugged in. 😂

Thanks for this. I actually have the cassette (bought it at one of their shows at the Last Temptation) but am a little afraid to listen to it because I definitely don't want to wreck it.
@peters-other-stuff29 күн бұрын
you should listen and compare to see if there are any slight differences since these are all homemade. cassettes are more resilient than you think

I feel like if you took all of my favorite sung lines from tmbg songs and distilled them into one song this would be it… like i’d play this for someone to be like ‘here’s why they’re my favorite ever!’
