I'm late, but man. I honestly loved all of the themes in the black shores. Playing through the story was so great especially with the tracks. You did a great job on this one, I love how nostalgic you made it, can't tell if those vocal stabs are doing it or the chimes in the higher register but it's awesome regardless.

@@MagisterialVoyager Sure thing! Though I'm not sure if I can put it into words perfectly but I never do a cover that is 1 to 1 with the original. I always try to implement elements that are right up my alley. I really like sounds that can amplify a certain atmosphere such as textural strings, electronic synths etc. The original track was already amazing in its own but since it's a solo piano arrangement, I thought to myself that the implementation of atmospheric sounds can amplify the nuance/feeling the track was trying to convey. I am a firm believer that great melodies and chords doesn't always 100% deliver the atmosphere it wanted to show. While great melodies and chords can absolutely make a great foundation for the track, it needs certain atmospheric elements to help the track amplify its feelings. And that's exactly what I did in this track! So all I did was to amplify the feeling without changing the composition of the track since it's already perfect in my opinion! Apologies for the long paragraph since I wanted to put it into words that is at least understandable haha. Hope this helps!

This theme of yours definitely captures the feelings of Shorekeeper very well, and you definitely did a good job refining it even to the point of slightly altering it to fit with the entire quest's mood. Well well, looks like I managed to make it early for a 2nd time. That's very good Salutations once again Farabi. This comment will be different from others if you don't mind. First though, I'm curious as to whether you saw my list of requests and links I gave to you as per your request on your Black Shores theme. Secondly, my thoughts on this, it's structured like... A lullaby almost. It's soft, comforting, and has an element of solemn elegance to it. I haven't met the Shorekeeper yet, so I can't say whether this is indicative of anything, but just on the name alone I can say this reflects it. Though I will say she looks a bit like Black Swan, but if she had lighter colors (I wonder if her personality is... similar. I personally find those types a tad bit off-putting). I enjoy a softer piece from you every now and then, but I'll never get tired of when you go epic, I can do this all day............ Wait a second, did I just...? 🤨 Anyways, with that out of the way, I would like to say that I've been following along with you since fairly early, since the release of your Scaramouche boss theme. I've just never been much of a social person really, and never had the desire to comment on any video, In a very "silent consumer" if you will. But know that I've been there, silently praising your work, and watching every video. This includes even ones that aren't to my taste (which is to say anything outside gacha stuff), I watched them just out of curiosity to see how you did things and what you were up to this time around. I believe my first comment may have been on your first rendition for Pantalone's boss theme. After your response, I felt emboldened to to do it again. Seeing positive reception and friendliness I subsequently felt inclined to continue doing so. But like I said, I'm quite the recluse, so it's not a habit I've developed. I'm now wondering if it would be prudent for me to comment on every video now to make up for this? *Chuckles* A rhetorical statement by the way......... Maybe~

Hi there Novan! I did saw your list and have taken them into account. The thing is, I'll be going out on vacation this month and haven't really got the time on experimenting with the lists you have given me. Though, I am grateful for the list! Aside from that, thank you so much for your kind words and even though you were a "silent consumer", there's nothing wrong with that! I appreciate all my viewers even if they don't comment or interact, because it's not a must! But I am glad that you started commenting which is always welcomed! Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed this extended version I made of Shorekeeper’s theme from Wuthering Waves newest update! I personally feel they improved a lot in terms of story-telling, music and overall gameplay. But what really surprised me was the music aspect. In my opinion, WuWa has great music ever since its release. It’s just that, it might not be memorable (absence of motifs etc.) but when put into context, like for example playing the game and listening to the in-game music, it suits 100% and even amplified the overall atmosphere of the world. However, starting from 1.2 I think, WuWa have really improved their music and added in motifs that are really memorable while still maintaining the soul of WuWa’s world. I was amazed and overall, huge respect to the music team for pulling it off. They managed to improve an already great music to something even more amazing. So, I wanted to cover one of the most iconic soundtracks of the 1.3 update as an appreciation towards the music team and for you guys to enjoy as well! It is an extended version with a glimpse of my composition (as usual haha). Once again, I hope you enjoy the music and also enjoying WuWa for those of you who plays! Let me know what you think about the new update! And as always, take care and be safe out there everyone! - Farabi Hasan

The electronic and dubstep focus of Wuthering Waves is certainly... Interesting. Quite different from either Genshin or Star Rail. I'm seeing a progression here in the "sci fi-ness" of the music Genshin < Star Rail < Wuthering Waves Genshin is more orchestral and classical in its music, which makes sense considering it's fantasy and "medieval" atmosphere compared to our own world. Though I've noticed that since Fontaine, soundtracks have gradually~ been incorporating more... Synthetic and electronic sounds... All Devouring Narwhal anyone? 🤔 Star Rail is a mashup of fantasy and sci fi, so I've noticed that it naturally includes more synth, dubstep, you get the point, and blends that pretty well with classical orchestra Then you have Wuthering Waves which is undoubtedly the most synthesized of the 2. Maybe that's just Kuro's style, or maybe it's indicative of something, or maybe both, who knows. In any case, the Tacet Discords, the Lament, and many of the enemies of Wuthering Waves give an eery resemblance and similarity to the Abyss in Genshin... Enough of me rambling on, Farabi my friend, I heard you recently returned after a month's long break. I am glad you're feeling well and pushing through adversity. You've done well and I commend you. I've seen that you now have a double phase boss theme for every Harbinger, and each one is exquisite I must say. But now that this particular end of my wishes have been fulfilled, do you recall the other things which I hoped to see? If you want, you can probably go to some of your older videos to find my comments detailing it, or I can recall it here

Yeah I totally agree with your point of view. I think electronic music is definitely in Kuro's aesthetics. They have been doing that since their previous game which is Punishing Gray Raven. Found it. All the way back in your theme for a Khaenriah city. I've noticed you don't go through comments as much in the day after your releases, so I try to get to you as early as I can so you'll notice I'll just quote what I said there: "1. Because I'm a completionist if you get what I mean and also because you always seem to do your previous music justice and improve upon what you did before... the Harbingers should all have 2 phase boss themes. Right now, if I am correct, Pulcinella remains the last one who doesn't have 2 phases. I will also include the Tsaritsa because I think it's only fair, I really liked the 1st time you did it and I can only imagine what a remaster would sound like, especially with 2 phases (Although sometime tells me that woman might have 3 phases) 2. An improved version of your Scaramouche boss theme, it was your first Harbinger and since we now know more about Scaramouche and he had his whole character arc, I think you can do awesome with an improved version of Scaramouche's Boss Theme 3. Speaking of Scaramouche, I would like to see you do a remix or your own take on the Shouki no Kami boss theme, the whole thing. It's one of my favorites Genshin has to offer and I respect and appreciate your work, so I trust in your power. A remix of the All Devouring Narwhal would also be quite nice. Actually, I think you could do some epic remixes for all of Genshin's boss themes, your Apep one was really good 4. Yes, I get it, I really like your double phase themes. Some double phases of the Unknown Goddess, Venti, Zhongli, and your other boss themes you did that aren't Harbinger related would be really nice to hear, especially remastering their originals in wih them 5. This one is especially personal. I would like to see an epic-ified Keqing theme. Why you ask? Because she's my 2nd favorite character behind Ei, and she is NOT DONE JUSTICE enough! My favorite swordswoman doesn't have a hangout or story quest of her own and people always hated on her in earlier meta versions 😭. So I would appreciate it if you can give her a worthy epic theme, because I trust in your capability 6. This one depends on whether or not you've heard of Xenoblade Chronicles, specifically XC2, if you have, I would like some music covers of the music in that game, I'll specify later should you answer this" You replied, and then I sent this, which you appear to have missed: "Of course, I would never ask that you overwork yourself and I can be patient until all of my desires come to fruition. XC2 is one of my favorite games of all time and I have always liked their soundtracks (Though for different reasons than Genshin or HSR). Allow me to summarize in case you aren't exactly familiar with how the whole thing works. It's set in a world called Alrest where humanity (which by now has evolved into a host of sub species that look quite different from each other) lives on these essentially massive biological continents called Titans that swim among the Cloud Sea, which is just like it sounds, a sea full of a cloud like substance that functions as that world's ocean. The Titans all circle around a massive tree called the World Tree and legend has it that the creator God of Alrest, the Architect, lives up there, though no one is quite sure if and how he acts. A Unique race of beings, called Blades, are one of the many notable inhabitants and their forms and appearances vary as much as there are kinds of fish in the sea, ranging from near human to strange creatures and beasts. Blades can't exist by themselves however, and must link with an individual who has the proper aptitude and potential, and these people are called Drivers. In exchange for getting a physical form, Blades grant elemental powers to their Drivers. The protagonist named Rex, is a 15 year old salvager that lives on a mini Titan called Azurda who is basically a foster parent of some kind (He calls him "Gramps"). Rex gets into this odd salvaging job for a businessman to haul something up in the unknown regions of the Cloud Sea and through a series of crazy events, he meets the most powerful of Blades, the Aegis, who was dormant prior for centuries, and she makes a special request of him to take her to a mythical paradise said to be at the top of the World Tree, launching the 2 of them into a world spanning adventure as they uncover conspiracies, fight terrorists, and make lots of friends who aid and join them on their journey Here are some links to some notable pieces that I really like and frequently listen too kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3bPfpKrfbFjZqc kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpa0qaNjo76mhZI kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6a1mK2JZ62piLc kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zp3EgZyFgNiHfbM kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHTHlauneJambJI kzbin.info/www/bejne/imOzqn5tfblma5I kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKbOi6eHhpeberc kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4GZdWubgLB_Z9E kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIm9lZJuetd8Z9k kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5a4aoFrbqieoaM kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnjCcoyhaauUaZo Naturally there's much more, but these are some of my favored pieces (keep in mind some of them loop). Now I'd like covers of these in your own style, maybe even replacing certain aspects with different instruments and whatnot. In particular though, I would especially like original compositions of themes for the characters in XC2 (Since the vast majority of them don't seem to have their own motifs as odd as that is). And I think you could do well in properly representing them. Think of like the music they might have if they had a character demo in Genshin, that's what I'm thinking (Could be either epic or soft). I would especially like this treatment done to Mythra, my favorite character from the Xenoblade Series, I can't say exactly who she is, otherwise there might be spoilers, but I'd be happy to elaborate further at some point Of course, playing the actual game would help a lot in getting a feel for these pieces and the overall game and it's characters itself, but even if you weren't playing it to use as a resource for covering these pieces I listed, you should really just play the game in general because it's awesome Have a wonderful time Farabi! Keep up the good work and stay healthy" Obviously, you've pretty much finished number 1. I've seen all your double phase Harbinger and Tsaritsa boss themes and I'm satisfied with pretty mucb all of them. I commend you for your work on that. Side note, I do think some of the Harbingers or just other Genshin bosses in general will have 3 phases. Childe remains the only guy with 3 phases for a boss fight, and Apep is the same way. Of course, Hoyoverse didn't make 3 separate tracks for each phase, but just a side note from me on that. You needn't pay it much mind Because I appreciate you so much and the awesomeness that is your music, I include them in the stories I write. Both while I write them, but also to add to anyone's experience while reading them, since I write stories for a hobby and post them on the internet. Unfortunately, present circumstances of mine have... Shall we say prevented me from completing my foremost project at the moment, leaving me only capable of doing less intensive works, albeit with my same dedication snd consideration to the art of writing.

Same here. I always pay a visit. Though... I don't manage to be quite~ as bright and early as Sumes here. This was a rare case, but at some point or another, I manage to visit, even if it means I'm late. Hehe. Concerning the music, I agree. I believe there's quite a lot of trial and error process going on behind the scenes with the music crew. I wonder how it will all sound when Wuthering Waves gets to 5.0 like Genshin. But~ that's quite a ways off, for now, it's a waiting game 😆🤔@@FarabiHasanMusic
