Still remember going to The Metro in Chicago seeing them live in '88. Great band.

I would ask him about D'Arcy. Why can't the hatchet be buried? Geez, they made some of the best music that ever vibrated through my ears. Just sayin.

I was 14 yrs old when SP began to kill me softly. It was music to my ears, heart, and soul when i needed them most. Early 90s I experienced severe childhood trauma and this man's voice comforted and consoled me when I was deep in dispair. I didnt realize he was close to Jesus but I understand now why I was so connected to his music and lyrics. I felt less like a freak and not alone when I hear the instrument that is his voice, God breathed gift of the Spirit. Billy and SP inspired me to write, speak, live, and love in my personal perspective through Christ, not anyone else's. True freedom. God willing, I'll see SP in Pitts Sept 1. Bucket list finally!!!

One of the best songs on Atum! I wish he'd release this kind of stuff as singles instead of the, imo, mediocre rockers.

The best song from probably the best album of all time - back when recording artists were allowed to be complicated because the love for their music was simple

Best song is a bold claim, though I do love this song. Too many bests on that album to name a single best IMHO. Thru the eyes of Ruby, In the arms of sleep, Porcelina of the vast oceans, 33, and 1979 are all at least equally up there to name just a few. I think it would probably be easier and quicker to just name the less exceptional songs: .... Done. That WAS easier!

Turn the snare off if you're not playing during the bass solo if you're going to lay out and comp more w the bass drum. Maybe hit 4 once in a while

One of the Best Songs ever Written! And Corgan is probably the must talented Singer/Musician In our generation…,
@cablecutter125 ай бұрын
Songwriter, agreed. Singer? Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, and of course, Freddie Mercury have entered the chat. LOL Too difficult to make that call but I'd say Billy is at least in the conversation. He's definitely the best singer of that time period still alive, though.
