First off great episode! Second keep the Eagles out your title lol. You was on point about the injuries Bruce like you said on the offense side of the ball things been good. The lions did what they had to against the Chi. A-lot of players on offense chipped in so good job to Jared for making that happen. The bills game was great and i think they learned from that game. i believe the bills are way better than the 49ers so i feel the lions should have no problems but we will see. I have a lot to say but imma keep it short and end with that. Great show guys! Merry Christmas to you both and your families! -TruthSpoken

your not wrong.... soooo many people screaming the sky is falling after we lose a shootout against one of the best teams in the nfl with the best mvp canidate in the league under center..... the lions still have a good shot.... and at this rate i wouldnt be suprised if we dont run it back for the big game ( with lions getting a lot of reinforcements back at that point)

Ignorant. Tons of people were inexplicably calling for Hooker to start over Goff all the way up until we won a playoff game last year. They signed Jones because we have super bowl aspirations and if Goff gets hurt for a game, it's better to have a QB who has actually started games as opposed to a guy who has looked mediocre in the small sample of cleanup time he's played in. Yes, Jones sucks. Hooker has also showed nothing. So yea.....if my starting QB goes down and I need someone to manage a game or two while we lean HEAVILY on Gibbs and Monty, I'm picking the QB who has actually played.
@Fullmetalanalysis29 күн бұрын
So you gon go with the guy who's actually played and proven to you over an over again he's gonna lose that game for you. Your absolutely right we've all see jones play and we no exactly what we gon get especially in the post season ..... a big fat L

This is where the clown show begins. You got WHOLE stadiums filled with people who paid a few hundred to a few thousand to be there! I wouldn't care if they chanted "hail Satan!" If that's what they're paying to chant, let them be. Be glad they're filling arenas and bringing that type of energy!
@attichatchsound-bobkowal5328Ай бұрын
Disrespect is giving your opponent less than your best effort. Would the Jags feel better if they only lost by 28 and Lions said "We felt pity for the Jags so we stepped off the gas."? One worry I have for Lions players is the human body handling that intensity in games AND practice for an entire season/post-season.
@FullmetalanalysisАй бұрын
That's a great point!
@chrisstockwell9235Ай бұрын
Everything said here is 💯 percent true and to add to that matt Stafford is a huge reason this team is so good, him being traded to the rams created ridiculous draft capital, Holmes not listening to the "experts" with those draft picks laid the foundation for this team and you can't point at one thing on this team and say this is what makes them great the whole team produces and that is special on many levels.

It starts at the top but doesn't end there. Sheila empowered Chris to find the right people to run the Lions. Everybody brought in is on the same page. From the front office to the scouting staff to the coaches and players, everybody is moving in the same direction. When you have that and talented players, the sky is the limit.

Dan and Sheila and Brad and Ben and Aaron all believe that Detroit is fabulous as a city and they know Detroiters truly have a culture.
@solarhits0411Ай бұрын
You nailed it when you brought up past coaches bringing another teams identity to Detroit. That’s what frustrated me for the longest is I wanted a coach who brought his own mentality that matches with Detroit. When they hired MCDC I knew he was him. Detroit is just known as that “blue collar, punch you in the teeth, never give up and stand on business and toe to toe with anyone” kind of city. Love that no one is giving us these W’s and we just taking them cause that’s we are about.

It's Shelia Hemp who put it together no ifs, ands, or buts.
@V.A.Dalton-yk5rlАй бұрын
The one comment that I read that I thought was 100%. Correct was from Joestone2003 In my opinion, Sheila Hemp was the driving force of the Detroit LIONS new Renaissance. Miss Hemp brought in Chris Spellman, who loved Detroit just as much as she does. I think Chris said after he retired, he would like to coach the Detroit Lions 1 day. I thought he was the one to be where Dan Campbell is today, but his role is crucial, and what the Detroit Lions are right now. With Chris, Sheila decided on Brad Holmes for the three of them decided on Dan Campbell. The Renaissance starts from the top, "Mrs. Sheila Hemp" 🙏🏿 Thank you.
@jppagetooАй бұрын
In truth Dan Campbell was hired 6 days after Brad Holmes. The Lions had already interviewed the candidates for head coach. Brad may have had a say in the final decision, but he didn't bring in Dan Campbell. I agree with ya that Dan Campbell is the right man for Detroit. He was here for the painful years, he knows Lions Fans.

@Fullmetalanalysis I am not saying there isnt a lot of hard work and great talent showing up. But when you look at it all, this could have been a trainwreck top to bottom new people going into the 2021 season. Ownership hired great people and after going 3-13-1 nobody panicked. They had trust in what was building. Look at how many injured guys they have drafted, takes a real steady hand to guide that ship. Even with all the suspensions and what not they stay patient. Look how long they took to Z Smith from the browns. Grit is the mentality, but patience is the guiding force behind this franchise now
