A very well made and a very nice video! Just a small correction, when you deploy flaps the C.G doesn't go anywhere, if you didn't move anything in the plane the C.G will always stay at the same place it was before. What actually shifts is: the center of pressure- and since it changes the arm between C.G and C.L (center of lift AKA center of pressure) you get either a nose up or down tendency -depends of the design of the airplane (In some airplanes you don't get neither, and that's because in that particular airframe- deploying or retracting flaps does not affect C.L) Thanks for the video!

Hi, I use the HSD 105mm EDF. I am surprised you had problems getting off the ground with Schubeler. You may have the CG too far to the front - that could prevent rotation. I have not weighed it in a while but it is otherwise stock and it flies with two 6000 6s batteries.

Hi Paul, Do you have to mix elevator with full flaps? Do you have to mix up or down elevator with full flaps? Thanks, Stefan
@pzukowski1001
@pzukowski1001 6 ай бұрын
Hi, yes I have a little bit of up elevator mixed with the flaps. The plane noses down with flaps deployed so you need to compensate for that or it will come in fast on final approach.

The gear looks better than what came with smaller L39/Viper 2000mm and H9 MMB, I realise they are the bigger size (150 over 120) but also the retracts look far more like JP quality

Hi, there is no fix for the SRXL2 incompatibility right now. What I do is connect the RX to the MFC using the PWM ports, so one cable per channel. The MFC is such an amazing product I don't mind the extra cables for now.

How many amps is your system pulling. Mine with the JP Hobby setup on the v2 PNP only pulls 99-103 amps when it should be closer to 130 amps. Not sure if changing to a JP 150amp esc over the Hobbywing Flyfun ESC will make a difference.

Good morning, I'm setting up an L-39 with a dx 20. What aircraft type did you use to get the rudder and nose gear to steer correctly. Can you share how you did your setup. Having issues figuring it out with the 2085 module.
@pzukowski1001
@pzukowski1001 11 ай бұрын
Are you referring to aircraft type setting in the transmitter? That should be set to your wing configuration which for the L-39 is normal: 1-AIL 1-FLP 1-ELE 1-RUD. Are you using the MFC-2085-DR or an older 2085? The new DR has a separate nose-wheel servo port HS-06. It is already assigned to the rudder RX input and it follows that channel. You can reverse it and setup travel/subtrim independent of the RUD channel. The DR also has a nose wheel gyro you can turn on and it seems to work quite well to help tracking during takeoffs.
