I have seen many women put their personal growth on hold while staying at home to nurture their children. But finding the balance between business and homemaking is a gift, one that every homemaker can get, if only they understand how. This video is such an eye-opener. I learnt so much. It is inspiring to see what is possible. Thank you for sharing ❤

I was at variance with my parents for a very long while until I turned to the Lord recently. Although, I do not have to but I have had to forgive and learn to honor them. It’s not great yet but the relationship is definitely getting better. Thank you for this. ❤

Sometimes that silence and not communicating is meant to make the other person look inwards or even the both of them I don't think that assumptions often occur in the period of silence Sometimes that silence is to make the erring one ask pertinent questions Has he or she complained about this thing many times before? What can I do to minimize this knowing that it always makes us have issues?
@anetaelishaoladejo20 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. ❤ I agree with you as I do not think it’s healthy for anyone to keep talking about the same things over and over. I believe that if you care about your spouse, you should make the effort to ensure they do not complain about the same issues for unhealthy amounts of times. It shows the lack of effort and commitment from the erring partner. Anyone who shows that level of unconcern to things that bother you, would probably not care about the silence too. So I guess this talk point actually speaks to normal committed couples that are interested in doing better and becoming better.
@tacklefx20 күн бұрын
@@anetaelishaoladejo I appreciate the fact that you said anyone who shows that level of unconcern would PROBABLY not care about the silence The word PROBABLY infers that it's not in all cases that the person would show a lack of concern. So silence sometimes can be employed as a corrective measure Its not a one-size-fits-all approach. There are those who hate silence and so they consider how their actions fuel that reaction they don't like and make the necessary changes I am in a committed relationship. Silence from me makes her sit up. I don't talk much.. So if there's an issue and I try to reason with her, she goes of course and I keep silent. There is so much power in silence. This does not mean that i am against having an honest communication I think we need to understand the dynamic nature of human behavior

This morning I saw a quote and it blessed me. It reads, "What a privilege it is to clean a house made dirty by healthy children playing, to wash dishes because we were able to eat 3 meals today, and to do piles of laundry because we all have clean clothes to wear every day." This just makes us see house chores differently. Truly, for everything we complain about, there's even a big reason to be thankful for it if we could see differently.

Well said Aneta. The world we are today has been hugely influenced by the results of the pressure on women to succeed. More women abandon the home front or delay marriage just to be able to prove to the world that they can perform as well as men do forgetting the fact that men and women are crates to solve different problems. What a woman can do, a man can only try but would struggle to do it well and vice versa and even when we are able to hold our own in our career, the home front fails terribly. This is not to say that woman should centre their career only at home but we should be much more concerned about our primary role first to set the kind of career choice we make or roles we take up while budding as career women. As a woman gets older in marriage and the kids grow she becomes much more available to take more challenging roles in her career
