You have to be careful there's a lot of fake launch devices if you're buying off the net!! you need to buy it from the company...launch UK or a parts supplier and it needs the module for it to work with the keys

Sir!!! I had an oil leak on my 2008 Chevy equinox which is the same vehicle! I am desperate to know if that 13mm bolt under the serpentine belt that’s hidden had a gasket on it? Was doing my oil change and noticed a huge leak that wasn’t there just a few months ago and noticed that bolt was loose. I tightened slightly but need to know if I need to add a gasket!!! Please help me!!

I have no idea of what you’re talking about 13mm under serpentine belt that’s hidden. But there is a timing chain cover under all those pulleys in which the serpentine belt rides has 13mm and 10mm bolts 🤷🏾♂️

Yeah the lower most one right underneath the crank pulley. I noticed mine was hella loose on my last oil chance and just need to know if that bolt had a gasket!

I really like this project.. My best advice. Do not buy and store it for a year to prevent the extra disaster you are working with.. I would not buy another until your ready to work on the project.. But so far nice work, especially for someone doing it solo.

Funny part Autel scanner used to steal cars, takes forever to make a key. Pin-key code-cut code- program hex bits, find authorization code- incode- outcode, bench program with xprog3 or x400.Etc. After all of that....A DEAD BATTERY. Then....next 2 months .....NASTF will ask for VSC and VSP credentials. More work for someone....Bricking modules. Good real review tho.
