Hi James, happy belated birthday mate, give Cookie the whole bag to keep him occupied 🤣 you do a great job trading in stuff to CEX to get titles you want mate 🙌 I hate looking for films on streaming site (on the off chance it’s one I don’t own) 9 times out of 10 they don’t have what I’m looking for anyway 🧐 we have Disney plus, Netflix, Paramount plus and Prime and my wife actually signed up for Apple TV yesterday too 😮 they are all a complete waste of time and money in my opinion. Take care mate👍😃👍
@MovieMad16 сағат бұрын
Hi, yep I have to fund my collection that way and I seem to do not bad. There are so many movies not on streaming, but saying that it does give opportunity to see ones I dont own. However The Cost benift ratio is getting ever increasingly worse. Thanks James

I only subscribe to Disney plus through Tesco clubcard and only get a 3 month subscription once a year now cost £7.50 in vouchers. I can't see the point in subscribing all year. Wife has Netflix one screen £4.99 per month with adverts and son pays for Amazon prime so we have enough to watch. The adverts are minimal at present but can see that changing . I have my physical media collection also to watch so more than enough entertainment in the household.

Hi James, blimey you must have offloaded a lot of sort after titles to get a £210 voucher from CEX 🙌 I’ve not seen Married With Children in decades, I wasn’t aware there was a banned episode 🤔 I had Invincible on blu-ray when it first came out (It claimed it was region free on the back but it was region locked 🤬) it is a good movie though 👌 nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
@MovieMad16 күн бұрын
Hi Allan A lot of horror movies that I Hadn't watched or wouldn't watch again. Think it was about 40. The player deffinetly said it was region locked, but pressing stop stop title menu made it play.

Grange Hill! I’m pretty sure I saw it right from the start. Heaven’s Gate is a quality film despite ruining the studio at the time. Timely pick up too considering the passing of Kris Kristofferson. Nebraska is pretty good. And some great footage on the Woodstock movie

Hi James, 12 Monkeys is a sci-fi thriller 🧐 but if you see it as a horror, then that’s fine with me mate 👍 The Exorcist is very tame by today’s standards. They Live, I would probably say it’s a sci-fi action but you could argue that it has horror elements 🤔 30 Day’s Of Night is a very good movie 👌both The Fog and The Mist are great….(I even enjoy The Fog remake) I rewatched Legion a few months ago and it holds up very well (Paul Bettany was the lead actor in it, who played Vision) love how organised you are James 🤣 take care mate👍😃👍

Hi James, I think with most genres, you will find sub-genres like disaster films….with romance…. (San Andreas) or disaster with sci-fi like The Core….Twister you could argue has sci-fi too as they use the Dorothy machine which has not been invented for at the moment the science is fiction 🧐 I think disaster films encompass a lot of genres but in the end they are still disaster films (so you can have them all in there James 👍) nice choice mate,take care👍😃👍

I remember buying the most recent version of A Star is Born on Blu-Ray with its slip cover very cheaply in Cex Edinburgh. The film has effectively been responsible for reviving Lady GaGa’s career. I also remember reading the book of The Running Man by Stephen King (writing as Richard Bachman) which I really enjoyed, but it is one of a number of Schwarzenegger films I haven’t seen, James.
