This video is truly [[inspiring]]! I hope you keep up with your channel and post new videos - that is, if it still brings you [[Happiness]]! You're [[inspiring]] and insightful! Your stuff is of great quality! I hope you didn't lose your [[Inspiration]] because of your lack of [[luck]] toward the apparent [[success]] of this KZbin Channel. As I have heard by a random KZbinr: "To create your own luck, you need to take action"

It’s so nice to hear the proper pronunciation of zettlekasten. I’m still trying to grasp the concept. I’ll have to use analog, because if I try to use an app, I’ll get lost. Thank you for simplifying. Could you make a demonstration of how you start your files? Thx.

Also looks like Syncthing was discontinued from the Google Play store a few days ago :(

FYI if you're playing on using syncthing, the mobile app was removed from the Play Store, so you will have to install it through F-Droid. Looks like the developers have been trying to get it back on the play store for a while with no success.

You're video is incredible, really complete and easy to understand. You're really didactic, thank you so much.

I like the flexibility of this method- can easily move/take notecards to share with others, take raw ideas & gather them together for projects. I've often used 3-ring binders but they have the disadvantage of being heavy & taking up a lot of space. My ADHD brain is always coming up with a lot, and it's often very nonlinear & about multiple topics (some of which are interrelated in ways that would make no sense to other people!) so this would be great. Color coding also may be helpful.

I enjoyed the video a lot, including the theme music from AoT :).

I still don’t understand exactly how I should be linking these notes inside of Obsidian. All the zettelkasten videos I see go into the theory. What I want so see are some actual example of the system in use inside of Obsidian

I would like to understand Obsidian. I downloaded it and tried to figure it out, gave up after 30 min

Great video 🙏 I never used Obsidian yet, but to try it out I need to find a way to make it work for me on all devices... I switch regularly in between Macbook, Android phoneand iPad. Your tutorial seems to work well for the first ones, but what about iPad ? Is it possible to sync it too ? It seems to me that the app doesn't allow more options than iCloud sync... Which doesn't even work for me for some reasons -_-

I am a 77 year old engineer. My memory has become poor and I still do work that requires remembering (like home automation: circuits, programming, and system design). PKM with Obsidian is my method of augmenting my declining brain and it certainly helps. I enjoyed this video. Well done. Thank you.

hey man, your videos are awesome. Why dont you keep uplod videos consistently? so, you can gain more followers. Your story telling is good, content is good, but you dont have consistency. With consistency your channel will be perfect. (request from a viewer)☺☺
@davidjlensing3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words! You're certainly right, consistency is one of the keys to success here on KZbin, but it's also really hard work that I don't have the capacity for at the moment. I've prioritized my studies (alongside family and work) over the past few months and am currently writing my Master's thesis. After that, I still have to work on a project for my part-time job, but AFTER THAT I definitely want to start making content for my own channels again, and then more consistently. Best regards!
