As long as you learn. Went into another rider at lower speeds and ended up breaking my hand really bad. Needed plates and screws. Mustve been going 15. 20 most. Still riding again but with gear. Gloves and leather do wonders

@@NacoYTC Great, thank you very much man! As suggestion, you could include pedal cam views with cuts simultaneously between the onboard view to have one angle in full screen at every moment instead of having a small screen with "picture-in-picture" and both angles at same time. ;)

This is mayba when you are a race driver or an old truck driver with 500 gears. For normal manual cars it's not needed. Manual shifting is going extinct, everything nowadays is automatic/electric

downshifting is actually safer than throwing it into neutral because then you’ll still have power if you need it. Manual shifting is very much alive and well as enthusiasts much prefer it to auto

@@NacoYTC i wasn't talking about downshifting in general, this is very important especially if you're going downhill you want to break on your engine and not overheat the brakes. I was talking about bumping the gas pedal to increase the rpm with 1000 before releasing the clutch. you don't need to keep the rpm up for downshifting. For most people this is even dangerous as you downshift when slowing down, you want your foot on or above the brake, not on or above the gas pedal. Manual shifting is nice as long if your not in a traffic jam every day.

@@chris7jakartaalso incorrect, if you do not increase rpm when downshifting you will wear out your synchromeshes and clutch very quickly. It’s not dangerous when slowing down because if you know what you’re doing you can heel toe, which allows you to effectively brake and downshift at the same time. Hope that helps

“Find the bite point” is not helpful advice for someone who doesn’t know what it means to drive a stick. How about “As you engage the clutch, by releasing the pedal, add pressure to the accelerator just enough to avoid the stall/shudder but not too much to spin the tires etc.
