One of my favorite songs! My dad was 15 when he got my pregnant (mom was 16). And there were circumstances that caused him not to be involved (my grandfather - mom’s dad - wanted to kill him), so at NINE I found out who he was. And he didn’t know how to be a dad then. I was angry because if it but in hindsight, I get it now. So it was easy to give him a pass and hope that when he got out of prison we would get to be father and son like most are. But 3 months and 24 days later he was gone, heart attack at 42. Never got to hang out or take his grandkids to do something. Holding onto animosity isn’t worth it. Forgive while u can! God will bless that!
