I heard of a guy on a motorbike that set the absolute record for a full circuit of the Paris peripheries (circular dual carridge way). But then he attempted to break his own record, hit a truck and was instantly killed? Or hit a truck, was catapulted over the barrier into oncoming traffic, and was run over by a truck, killing him instantly. I got passed by that bike on the first run (I was driving a truck to Bordeaux at the time, but wasn't there for the second run, which I believe happened several weeks or months later !! Was it Ghost Rider? I have no idea, but do know he was seen in Paris around that time.
