My children never got vaccines at birth. I was told their immune system wasn't effective until later. They got their first at 6 months. Mother's milk supplies all the immunity they need.

The baby’s first instinct is to find mother’s nipple and suckle in first twenty minutes! If anyone observes the new born one can witness vividly by the baby’s eyes searching, the body fidgeting restlessly, the hands moving to grab onto something the mouth and the tongue trying to suckle some nonexistent thing just after a few minutes of birth! When the baby doesn’t find its need it starts to cry and settles on sucking its own fingers! It’s high time that the Neonatal Care Team realise this innate first instinct of the baby and soon after the vital signs of the baby are checked to put the naked torso on the naked chest of the mother and watch the miracle of baby’s movements to look for the nipple, reach it and get the first essential feeding!
