My Idea and design, is to place a Clear Skylight over the Entire Courtney Strip, to make it a Covered Indoor/Outdoor Shopping Experience. Do the Same with the Entire Cuba Street and Manners Strip. This will Shelter our people from the Wind and Rain, and people can enjoy their nights out without having to deal with the Cold Wind. I want all our people to Feel comfortable out there. No more buses through the Middle of Courtney. Put bus Stops and Shelters at the Big Intersections at both ends Courtney Central. Remove everything in the middle so that people can walk through enjoying the different restaurant's and dining experience there. Level that whole area for foot traffic and just a Slow car lane for delivery vehicles and other vehicles. When a new Entertainment and Shopping Complex development happens to replace reading Cinema, add a big Carpark which will help people walk through that new Complex right through to the Courtney Strip. I can just Imagine how awesome that would look! Just some Ideas along these Lines. Stay Strong, One Love!

Our whole city is going to crap right now,we jeed to tackle inner city crime and restore small businesses in the inner city and make our city the fun beautiful and safe place its always felt in the recent past.. the police dont seem to want to deal with low level crime on the streets with people sleeping rough and doing drugs openly in the street and harassing people by begging for money and making the inner city feel really unsafe.Also our hospitality sector is ruined and it was one of biggest assests and draw cards for tourism.We need real vision for Wellington again or our future is in major jeapody.
