no subtlety. overacted by the cruel, selfish, gross 'superstar'. i hate to see women with little self confidence, unable to stand up for themselves. I'm sure this talented songwriter will get it, but i'm not waiting for it to happen. bye bye

Ms. Jaekle can actually sing and play keyboards. She's been doing that for years. But that can CANNOT play guitar (I am a guitarist) - and he's lip-synching. What a drag . . .

Had an odd response to this movie. Normally I am cynical about humanity moving to another planet with such a high likelihood it will just do there what it has done here likely even faster. For some reason the one comment explaining the father/son duo went to a planet in the 5th dimension made me feel entirely hopeful.

When I watch a movie like this, I'm thinking that all the positive comments have to have come from people who worked on the movie!

WELL DONE in so many aspects, starting with a celebration of the good qualities of humans, and quality love for one another. Great music, great production all around. Thanks for the pictures of all people at the end of the film, truly deserved.

That would have been a great movie if the music wouldn't have been trying drown out the dialog. Why have lyrics to a song if the instruments are covering them up. One scene with dialog where the couple is sharing their heartbreak stories as they walk down the street. The plinkety plunkety piano in the background was almost enough for me find Hogan's Heroes or an Archie Bunker Show. Who are the people that mix the sound, anyway? Duh
