yes besides a couple of shots that were in the beginning (different camera), the majority is shot on FLOG2

I just got the 33mm (50mm equivalent) f1.4. I know some street photographers say it's too zoomed-in/tight for street stuff. But I'm so glad I got it and not a wider lens. I feel like wider lenses (18mm etc) can create bad habits because they give a dynamic feel to boring street scenes. I'd rather have to work a bit harder to find each composition but then have it feel more natural, and the basically distortion-less 33mm gives me that. (And that's not just me theory-crafting. The 16-55mm had been my main lens for two years, so I know when going wide got lazy.)

@@stilltheduo Awesome. I'm new to it in a way, although my 16-55mm has been my main lens all year. I love my 16-55mm so much that want to carry it with my 33mm on my street photography walks as a backup ... although it does feel a bit weird dragging a 655g lens around as that backup! (The problem with the 16-55mm, for me, is mainly that its f2.8 sometimes isn't enough). Swapping the 16-55mm for a lightweight, wide prime would make some sense - but then I'd be leaving my beloved 16-55mm at home constantly. I'm a big guy, so think I'll try to carry it :)

I carry the tamron 17-70 for the same reason. I usually just leave the 33mm on though haha @@mikefoster6018

@@stilltheduo Cool - you and I basically have the same formula! Yours is a tiny bit more rationalised, as your Tamron wights 530g compared to my 16-55's 655g. The 33mm has me feeling excited but also twitchy. I do think it's much easier to make 18mm photos look exciting than with the 33mm. Because 18mm photos come pre-packacked with that cool distortion etc and it's much easier to just have a proper background for your subject. I know some people say the 18mm is tricky because it's hard to control what's in the (wider) background, but I'd flip that around and say it's probably trickier to get the scene 'right' with 33mm. So I almost feel conflicted settling on 33mm for now - but I'm resolved to stick with it because I want shots that feel clean, simple and real. Whatever it is, I'm loving it. I woke up early today but full of energy, so immediately leapt to have a long day's walk with the camera. But then I read the weather forecast here in London, so sadly I'll be indoors today! I'm not keen on rainy-day photography.
