Good video mate I absolutely love my buck 112 plus its always razor sharp and a strong knife that would do anything you wanted from it. Bought a buck spitfire a while ago its good but the old ones are still number one

Fantastic to see the videos, I actually made a visit to Lochgilphead last September hoping to meet Bob but found that it seemed deserted. I had correspondence with Bob some time ago regarding fitting a fish on my NSU TT which he kindly advised me on, such a nice man. I saw in the video an NSU Badge. I would be grateful for any information regarding the fish and if any are available or any spare parts.

Love these carbs, I have one in my Trials car, still using it after maybe 30-40 years. Never had a problem save a couple of needle and seats. Although after trying e85 I found the little bush/ferrule that goes in the arm that swings through the float chamber had stuck so that it wasn't rubbing against the metering groove. So I'm wondering if parts, especially that part is available to buy? I had been in touch with Bob last year, but sad to hear he has passed on.Blokes like him are sadly missed.

Your fish carb on engine is to large a bore , the original designed carbs per cubic inch ,or in your case liters ,the larger 2 inch carb is for 390 cubic in or bigger ,I have the same 2 inch on my 392 international travelall and a 1.625 inch on my 134 go devil 49 willys but should be a 1.375 ,ihave to fish book explaining size per cubic in , great video.

Great carb worked for Bob Henderson in Hackbridge in his Mini racing days. Did conversions on Beetles, Mini's Corsair V4, Avenger various Fiat's Wally Pratt in a name I remember I had a Mini Van and Bob gave me an 950cc engine. Had some fabulous times especially trips to island on Loch Awe. Bob will be missed.
