I went with the 2019 991.2 4 gts for my sweetspot. The GT cars are not for me, and you can inexpensively tune any of these >500hp if you find a desire. I rarely even use Sport+ for the 20-second boost button. So no use for me.

Congratulations on your 911. I own the same 992 S, color and all. Only mine is a Manual transmission with a Heritage interior. I’m in love with my car! Even more now that Porsche removed the analog tachometer, and is using a push start button instead of the key looking knob. Congratulations, enjoy it in good health.

The 992.2 GT2RS is currently testing with 1000HP. The 992.2 GTS has 61HP more than the 992.1 GTS. As the 992.1 Turbo S has 650HP, the 992.2 Turbo S will probably have 720HP so more than the 991.2 GT2RS.

You speak wonders about a car you’re driving at very low speed in straight lines. Sorry that’s not very convincing because that’s not driving. The 992.1 Turbo S is no doubt an excellent and very impressive 911, but if it’s just reduced to pottering along roads to go drink a coffee, well that makes the coffee mightily expensive. A Turbo S has far more DNA than that 😎

So I’m recently the market for this exact car as I live in a warm climate, and would love a convertible. I’m watching your video thinking wow these roads look so familiar then at the end you shout out the dealership in town I grew up in. Small world haha and great video.

@matthewandcars I actually see a lot. They usually drive them around after showing the car thoroughly. I have never seen a review of a 718, so I wanted to see a good overview of it. You could do another video showing the car and inspect its parts. Have a good day.

Get air suspension for better ride quality

@drgvrp_dashcam I test drove steel and air back to back too and air suspension is absolutely worth every penny. You get far more refined ride with air and much more comfortable ride for the rear passengers. Based on drive mode, it can be more sporty or more comfortable so you get best of both worlds. This is more noticeable if you get larger wheels (e.g. 21 inch and above)

⁠@drgvrp_dashcamTo each his own. I personally would have air suspension ahead of most cosmetic options like wheels and color. It adds a level of refinement and comfort that I think befits a luxury SUV and don’t think there’re any downsides

Driving a SUV int he city you donm't want <form/in control<...what we SHOULD want is a supention that can hanle the pot-holes, cracks in the road, bumps.....for that you need an <air supetion<....... Sport Suspension mode are just for ghose guys who wnat a <sportsc car feel< in the SUV...heh.....it's not th point of having a SUV.....99 percent of SUV's alslo will never go off-road....more reason to opt for a cushy suspespension.....it's a actually lo why sports cars actually are not suited to city/luburban roads...heh...they're designed for FLAT road e.g. race traak....no pot-holes, no cracks, track curface regularly cleaned ....

Yes! I agree but sometimes new SUVs overdo it! This one is firm enough but handles the pot-holes and rough roads comfortably without recoil!
