What a childish, super-annoying audience! But the guys, Jonathan and Logan, were terrific.

Trying to learn this for an audition as someone who cannot dance to save their life. Hopefully I can figure it out 😭
@queendeanYT2 жыл бұрын
i love this. some constructive criticism is, after the leg shuffle, change it up to pull the same energy. make it more dramatic and get rid of the high kick-hold-pivot, that took away from the dramatic energy that the song has. other than that i can imagine this would make a sick performance for a drag show intermission, i would die. imagine 12 dancers doing this to a dramatic laser and light show. sickening, stunning, dead on set.

Is this the choreography that is in the Broadway musical??
@ragsdalejt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Emily! No, this is not the Broadway choreography. This was choreographed by me for a city theatre production in 2019.

Why is this tap tutorial being demonstrated by a person wearing sneakers? I'm a professional dancer and used to teach as well.....then there are two tppers without tap shoes....WOWZA.
@ragsdalejt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shuree! This tutorial was recorded onboard a cruise ship in our fitness studio where we couldn’t use tap shoes on the floor. I’m sure as a professional you understand the effect the shoes have on hardwood floors AND also the need to “make it work” the best you can when your contracts overlap, just as mine did in 2019. I realize it’s not ideal, but at this point it has been enjoyed by thousands of beginner tap dancers and musical theatre fans, all of whom didn’t ask for your opinion. Best of luck to you! #wowza

can someone give me the link to the music audio? I wanna use this in my theater class
@ragsdalejt4 жыл бұрын
Taylor Walsh Hi Taylor! I find it’s best to just use the audio from the video to practice, but if you want to use the track it is Footloose/On Any Sunday by the Original Broadway Cast and you can find it on ITunes or Spotify. If you do end up using the choreo, please give me credit, AND please tag me in any videos you take because I’d love to see your work! Thanks so much and have fun!
