I have so many questions for you i am wanting to start making a build for mine and start ordering stuff and setting it to the side in case i ever decide like ok i am done i am ready to move on but lost on how to build it sooo… 1. How did you know if you have a 3rd row i own a 2008 as well and can’t figure it out 2. Could you do the same style platform but leave the seats in and still work or no
@KodyandMeg
@KodyandMeg 4 ай бұрын
You truly just have to start, we have ZERO knowledge on building things! I started just sketching out the dimensions of what I would need for materials and went from there. And also watched a lot of KZbin videos! Most 2008 commanders do have the third row, which makes leveling out the platform kinda tricky, so the legs will all be different lengths. I don’t think you could make a platform without removing all the seats, they just take up way too much space and don’t lay completely flat. I hope this helps!

We used to mountain-bike down from the Basin to the Rio Grande. Thirthy-three miles, downhill. Of course, we had to ride, slip, slide and walk the 6 miles up but still... 33 miles downhill - everything is great for that. The good think about walking is you can see everything nearby. Tons of odd vegetation, lotsa insects and reptiles. The pretty vegetation among that seemingly colorless scrabble, ending up with hours of rare colors. Also, the night sky is so full and bright by starlight that any sliver of the moon is simply too bright.

If we had enough bikers with us, we'd bring along gallon jugs of water and have the park-rangers deliver those, and often they'd suggest best-stopping points and best supper vistas. They all had favorites and, because of the general lack of people, they were all the more hyped to share.

Finding Marathon is one of the jewels out there. If you're heading west from Ft Stockton, hopefully someone will tell you about the oasis town of Balmorhea (bal muh RAY) just south of I-10, and their wonderful county park and spring-fed pool. We used to inner-tube down from the highway into 'downtown Balmorhea' along the canal-river... salamanders, mud puppies, etc. If you want to do it again, stand on the main street, thumb out and find a pickup who'll carry ya north about a mile or so, hop out and grab your floaties and enjoy another hour long journey downstream.

Love this video! Found it while searching for people who use cellular Apple Watches to see if my purchase of the Series 8 cellular is justified for the extra cost. As a Christian, I loved hearing that you read The Bible. I saw your comment to someone saying you may upgrade from the SE. I had the first gen SE GPS only version and it lasted me two years. Then the screen randomly popped off due to the battery expanding. Having said that, Wal-Mart is selling the Series 8 41mm Cellular in silver for $299 brand new which is super rare of a price to find! Compared to the SE 2nd gen cellular which is only $249 brand new. Thought this would help you if you were deciding to upgrade 😊 I don’t use all the features the series 8 comes with (like always on display), but the extra 1mm bump up from my SE 40mm is nice, the fast charging is even better, and there’s a keyboard to text better though a little cumbersome at times. Subscribing to your channel! Sorry this is so long 😅
@KodyandMeg
@KodyandMeg 7 ай бұрын
I enjoy long comments, haha! I think a cellular version could be really beneficial for me, as I had to carry around my phone with me everywhere for this, and I would love to be able to ditch my phone completely at times to minimize distractions. I also could really use a keyboard😂 messaging was so hard! I’ll have to look into those options, thanks for watching!

@@KodyandMeg I meant to ask…Because I don’t think you mentioned it…Was your AppleWatch the first or second gen SE? And what size is it? As a runner and gym goer, I would love nothing more than to not have my phone on me! Especially for running…Wearing an arm band was problematic bc it normally pops off 9 out of 10 times while running. Or having a cellular watch for the gym to not get distracted with social media etc. Talk to text was SO annoying as well on the SE. I hated it! Oh, and I meant to mention that Wal-Mart also has the Series 8 44mm in midnight for $229 😊 I applaud you for dedicating a week to do this video! I too want to bump down my on screen time so I will sacrifice spending a little more for a cellular plan for the convenience and (hopefully) a much healthier life. Looking forward to you the videos!

@@MatthewVlossak I believe I have the first gen and in the smallest size it came in! Talk to text worked okay for me in the beginning but recently it’s been so bad for some reason. It hardly gets the message right. Less dependence on my phone is the goal, so I have been considering a cellular plan as well!

I heard when you said you dont care anymore and I am not going to criticize But, soil ( not dirt) is the most important thing on any garden, from here what you bought does not look so good, also mulch is VIP to save water but vegetable gardens need natural muck, make sure the one you got has not tints / fake inks, may not be soo good for eating. and comb you tube, all the info about veg gardens are here to help you. good luck.

You can be lazy when gardening, over babying the plants can kill them. Also, check before you water plants. (Stick your finger into the soil, at least half of your finger, and if it’s dry water, if it’s damp depending on weather you can water, if still wet don’t water) Also good luck!!!!
