Thanks for doing this video. I have always wondered what it looked like inside. I saw some of the reno work being done a few years back and it is amazing. There are still some craftsmen out there doing great work.. 👍🏻

this real estate is the proceeds of crime .... I wonder if that fact was ever dealt with!?

Wait, what? My mom went there and I always thought the building on Cousineau was the "new" Academy. Now I feel like my mom lied to me all my life. 😁

I'm realising I now know of 3 countries with suburbs call Windsor

Windsor Transit isn't exactly extensive, but $3.75 to travel from Lake Erie to Lake St. Clair isn't bad in this day and age. Mind you Windsor had the same thing, running on electricity over 100 years ago and it cost something like a nickel.

There will always be some people that benefit and I agree that’s a terrific price for a long haul fare! For the average daily rider that commutes everywhere, it could add up?

@@RazvanMagBroker While the Vancouver transit system is more extensive traveling from one end to the other is $6.55. They have 3 zones radiating out from the downtown. The further out you go the more it costs. A single zone is $3.15 which is slightly less but I'd say for the average daily rider the cost of commuting by public transit is a bit more than $3.75. I'm not sure what the cost of a daily commute on Toronto's public transit system is but with GO train tickets upwards of $13 I'm confident it's higher than $3.75 on average. Again, these are both large metro public transit systems servicing a much larger area than Windsor, but relatively speaking the cost to use public transit on a daily basis seems to be on par with most urban areas. And if you look at it in terms of going from one end to the other $3.75 isn't bad to go from Amherstburg to Tecumseh. It's $23.10 to commute from Burlington to Barrie via the GO train.
