I'm seeing in this video of yours that the menu on my player is different, I'm Italian and I set the menu in Italian. "Accessibility Setting" and "4K Upscale Setting" are missing from my menu, is this normal? Thank you

The Video portion is the same on both decks. The 9000 has analog audio outs and an aluminum case so it can be held up with screws in a rack. Same interface and guts for video for both the 820 and 9000. When you connect the HDMI cable the analog audio is disabled. If you don't put it in a rack or use analog audio outs get the 820 and save some money for 4k movies like I did.

anyone else having a problem with this player freezing on a white screen and then etching scraches into dvds?

Hi this review has left me a bit confused being new to the scene. I've just bought this to play HD ultra discs ( the black case ones) you said it plays HDR 10 but not HDR 10+ or HDR Dolby? I'm confused is there a difference in the black labeled uhd 4k discs?

Is it sound better than the 820 ? I have a zidoo uhd5000 and when I tried the same Blu-ray I got a better sound on zidoo. So I need to know if the un 9000 got a bettter precision with sound mapping than 820

I am really glad that you returned this "budget" TV to the store as the cons are really too much to recommend. I am a proud owner of the LG 48" C1 OLED TV which is now a few years old which I'm still enjoying and it hasn't failed me yet! The black levels are excellent and the Internet does not freeze. Again, I understand that this is a budget TV and some people might not care much about the cons but I'm afraid it would be too much for me. Finally and this is very important regarding OLED technology...I've never experienced any signs of screen burn in issues with my C1 so I'm happy! Great unboxing and review video my friend!! 👍😁

I have both players. After the last "update" file playback using usb drive or home network has been crippled . When the players page through content (why they dont just scroll through is a question best asked of the 12 year old who wrote the code), the page skips the first file or folder, no way to access. 20 percent of your content is now not accesable. Btw didnt have this problem prior to the recent update. Add to this complete incompatibility with stmp 2.0 home network, every other device, ios,windows 11,10,7,,android, and linux all plug and play seamlessly. These pos can only see the root admin folder, everything else they keep asking for non existent passwords. And dont believe the files compatibility list. They cant decode 20 percent of the list, mkv,no,mp4 hdr,no,any file with more than pcm audio,no. The no list is endless. Customer support - rothflmao. Hdr optimizer is a total marketing joke - the display it is connected to knows how to optimize the tone curve for that display. You dont need to pre optimize. I also have an oppo 103d. It plays everything and works perfectly with my home network, as i assume the 203, which i wish i had bought years ago, would do also. So no its an oppo replacement talk please. , They play physical media, That's all they do. And why they waste memory on built in horrendous streaming apps ??????

As on today have sony fixed the 4k freezing issue with any software update , i wish to get my hands on it ..

Thanks! Came because I just cleaned my first 4k disc with the method I’ve always used but wanted to find out other ways. The method I use is 91% Isopropyl Alcohol & Paper towels. Learned your cotton balls and the inside-out method. Will be trying that.

Hello! Is there any sort of aspect ratio/zoom/crop setting? I have an old DVD that is a widescreen movie but not anamorphic. And my TV zoom settings actually can't get it quite right because the video is not standard 4:3 or 16:9
