Theres only one 12k acre BLM land area in the whole state which means little to no rockhounding in Texas.

You're getting winded just bending over, are you ok, we wouldn't want your mother to have to call an ambulance for you ...? Rocks are nice, but you have to take care of yourself too 😢.

Beautiful! I’m in central texas and looking for places close to home. Any generic counties in southern texas you’d recommend?

Tried to watch the video, but couldn't... That horrible background music just kills it 😔... No one is interested in seeing you drive while recording a selfie lmfao 🤣, so vein 😢.

Love the rocks you are finding!! Glad to see your mom hunting for rocks too because it’s one of my favorite hobbies but sometimes I think I’m too old! I’m 71. Can’t wait for the heat to let up so I can go out. You got a blue banded rock that’s like nothing I’ve ever seen! Can you tell me where this road was that you were on, please??

Thank you so much for sharing!!! Question for rock hounders⁉️ Are there agates in every town of the US? How do you know where to hound?

Denis, I'm a subscriber and am responsible for at least 100 views on each of your videos. (I hope your mom got another great mother's day trip rockhounding with you. ) I'm a couple of hours north of Houston but have been rockhounding several times in South Texas. I'm to the point of pulling my hair out trying to find a good agate hunting back road. Can you please at least give a town you're near? Or maybe organize a South Texas hunt for loyal subscribers? Seriously, I've been rockhounding for 2 years, and have never found a really good agate! Maybe it's just me and I still don't know what to look for. Help!!!!

Great finds! I once found an active sand spring in Wyoming actively producing small selenite crystals, including swallowtail twins. BTW, selenite, crystallizing in the monoclinic system, has prism faces and a couple of sharp vertices, but not the terminations seen in quartz or calcite.
